1. Will the starting offense be as effective with a bigger role?

The Broncos drove for a touchdown in their only series against San Francisco. The starters will play about 20-25 snaps tonight, which means quarterback Jay Cutler, right, probably will throw more than the two passes he did against the 49ers.

2. Can the Broncos stop the run?

The 49ers rushed for 144 yards against the Broncos, and they rested starter Frank Gore, a Pro Bowl player last year. The Cowboys have a good running game with Julius Jones and Marion Barber, so tonight will be a big test for Denver.

3. Will Brandon Marshall and Tony Scheffler make a difference?

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said both second-year players will play tonight. Marshall, a receiver, and Scheffler, a tight end, missed the start of camp and the preseason opener with injuries. The Broncos had only 89 passing yards without them against the 49ers.

4. What will Jarvis Moss do?

Moss, Denver’s first-round pick, said his injured knee felt better in practices against the Cowboys. The defensive end appeared for only a few plays Monday. In his few snaps, he had one good pass rush and fellow rookie Tim Crowder got the sack on the play.

5. Is Patrick Ramsey going to be better?

Ramsey, Jay Cutler’s backup, had only 45 yards passing in about three quarters against the 49ers, but he was often under pressure. Ramsey likely will likely play most of the second half tonight.

1. No, Lepsis will be in, and Javon, Stokley are out, I have a feeling it's gonna be one and done again, maybe two series.

2. It's gonna be hard, JJ and Marion the 3rd are a dynamic 1-2 punch, 3rd could me starting on many teams himself. Not missing tackles and being out of postion will be key, we will start to see if they are coming together around this D.

3. Marshall had better, he will be the only 1st team WR on the field tonight, I don't think Sheff will be doing alot, it sounds like it could be a week or two into the season before he is truly back up to speed. Remember Shaun Alexander's broken foot injury?

4. Whatever Moss does I hope it doesen't end on crutches, he will be severly tested with the run game, if he is even put in that situation.

5. He's for sure showing why he has been on FA list every off season, our depth at QB is at it's weakest in years and I'm talking about the Hugh Millen, Tommy Maddox, Shawn Moore days after Kubes split for aTm.

Stopping the run's the thing that has me concerned. That's been an ongoing problem overshadowed by our pass rush woes. I expect a better performance tonight.

Shanahan said tight end Chad Mustard will play right tackle against the Cowboys.

Need to find a body to play O-Line. Mustard and Kuper will get there shots at Right tackle.

I just hope they get out of Dallas without anymore injuries.

Well, the questions asked are probably legitimate, but this is the second exhibition game and is still used for evaluation. That means there will be a lot of substitution after the second series. It is the third exhibition game that marks the official beginning of the Team Broncos' season. That is the one that will be game planned, and so on. The Cowgirls present some challenges, and I am sure Wade will want to sell his coaching expertise, and will have Romo throw a lot to someone. They really, really want to win this game. BFD.

Should be interesting to see whether timing between Cutler and the pass catchers is coming along, and to see if Henry is going to make mince meat out of the D. The D will likely be a bit over matched because they are still learning the system, but they should show some improvement. I wouldn't give a rat's behind if they rush for 150 yards. If we see improvement, that is what we want.....

The score will be one sided. Cowboys will play there starters at least the first half. We will take ours out after 1 or 2 series.

It will be a great chane for our #2's to face a "real" NFL team. I don't think it will be pretty but it should really give some answers on some players.

Just keep JW out and hope for no more injuries.

This game could be ugly but I still think biggest key is how Cutler handles the rush. He needs to continue to slide and move forward and not backpeddle.
