I hope the refs don't make these kind of decisions during the regular season. There is no way that 2 pt conversion was good

I hate to say it but after he converted the 2 pts last night and they slowed it down during the replay you can clearly see he was touched before the ball crosses the endzone. Eventhough it made the Chiefs lose I kind of wish I had the NFL Network again and see Rich Eisen question that call and see what lame excuse they come up with now.

I don't care that the Dolphins won the game. It's a preseason game so you basically care about your starters and injuries, but when calls like these are made, it brings up questions about our ref's. If that was a playoff game then you can bet the ref's would be in trouble.
But then again, Herm never challenged it

exactly, he never challenged it...so whats the big deal?

I didn't see that play but the same type of thing cost Dennis Erickson his job in 98 when Vinny Testaverde with the Jets didn't cross the against the Seahawks on that goalline play.

I have to admit that I didn't see the game, but from the photo it looks like it's very close. My guess is that if the nose of the ball wasn't touching the line it did an instant later. You have the benefit of a still shot. That wing official had to call a bang-bang play at full speed.
How much time was left in the game? Why didn't Edwards challenge it? I'm guessing if it was outside of 2 minutes and he could have challenged it, he either didn't think he would win or, more likely, since it was an exhibition game, the risk of running another play wasn't worth it. Either way, even though I gripe about the officials too, they actually do a pretty good job overall.

Obviously this Chef fan isn't familiar with the 14 blocks in the back on Dante Hall's recording breaking punt return td, or all the other returns that same year.
Thank god the referee chubby's for Hall took a nosedive when it was finally revealed that he wasn't a real NFL reciever, but just one of those acrobat circus midgets.
You'll find no sympathy here, Chef.

It's preseason for the officials too, people. Anyway it was great to see John Beck beat the Chiefs, though the University of Utah are the basically the Chiefs anyway...

Actually I like Air Force too. I love going down there for football games. I went last year, and aside from some slush and mud problems, it was great.

I like how Kaylore thinks he knows everything about the Chiefs, but yet Bob actually knows a lot more about the team than he does..:spit:

That's pretty lame. It's funny how easy you guys are to annoy. For the record I don't know everything about the Chiefs and have never claimed to. What is it about my post about preseason referees that suggested I "think I know everything about the Chiefs?"
Bob definitely knows more about the Chiefs than I do, but I am right more than he is. In fact of all the teams Bob predicts for, the Chiefs are the one team he is the most consistently wrong on.

I try to make a game a year out there (missed a couple years now)....excellent tailgating going on and great atmosphere. My brother and I used to take in the pump thermos' full of beer and go out at half time and refill....never checked for tickets after half, so one year we just tailgated, listened to the first half and had our choice of seats in the south endzone.

Let me ask you this. If Bob and Kaylore were both doing TC reports on a team (not Broncos or Chiefs) and there were conflicting reports from them, who would you believe, and why?

I doubt that Khan. While Bob may be able to recite the entire Chiefs roster and stat sheets from years past, I'd say you have better knowledge of things like the schemes they run, player responsibilites and so forth.
