if Vick comes back to the NFL, he won't be a WR. But No, I wouldn't want him on Denver because we have Cutler. Plus he has given the NFL negative publicity, which would not look good for the team that signs him.

I wouldn't want the guy as a QB even before this dog fighting stuff. He stunk as a QB. He can't pass for $hit despite the team spending nearly half of their first day picks on WR's the last several years thinking it was the receivers fault(which we will find out this year that it wasn't). He just isn't a very good QB. He is exciting with his jail break (pardon the pun) speed but exciting doesn't mean good.

I can't imagine a team taking a gamble on him as QB. Remove the hype and he really isn't very good at the QB position. WR, though...he could be very effective.

If my beloved Denver Broncos picked him up. I think I'd have to give up on the NFL altogether.:oyvey:

OK, I changed the thread title. I can't change the actual poll.

Well, it wouldn't happen because some team would be desperate enough to line him up at QB.
BUT, if he wanted to be a WR, I'd absolutely take a look at him. I mean come on, love him or hate him, he's a play maker. Get the ball in his hands.

I've never been so close to actually putting someone on "ignore".....and that includes Bob.

If the Broncos signed him, I would cheer for him and wish him the best on the football field. It's unlikely because other teams would be quicker to give him a 2nd chance than us.

After his criminal activity he'd be a perfect fit in Chokeland. Make him a Raider then I could cheer even harder against him and the Silver and Black. Match made in Heaven.

the only way I would take him would be as a KR and everytime he DIDNT make a touchdown he got sprayed down with water and zapped like mel gibson in leathal weapon and when he did make a touchdown he got to celebrate by fighting mike tyson (he needs a job too) untill one of them got knocked out.

He was frail as it was at the Qb position. What on earth would make you think he would survive going into the middle of the field as a wideout?

Yea, but he isnt much of a impact so why bother? Plus, if he spends most of his time on the bench or out of service it would be a waste of time to play him at WR.

You're right, NFL.com changed their website and flipped the order of their stats. He's started a total of 67 out of 96 possible starts.

He would have to totally retrain himself to quit running upright if he were to play WR and esp RB. He wouldnt last a series running the ball up the middle as an RB the way he currently does. And I dont think you can teach this "old dog" any new tricks. Screw Vick, I could care less if he ever suits up in an NFL uniform again. He is like a more athletic, less volatile version of Jeff George - a million dollar arm and a .10 cent head.

Stupidest Poll Ever?
A- YES = 99.9 %
b- NO = .10 % (listo's vote)

If the Broncos brought him in they would be dead to me. Bowlen has more class and business sense than that tough. Vick is a deranged monster who obviously gets off picking on something that by its nature will love him until it dies. Vick deserves to be the WR on the prison football team and I don't mean the actual sport.

Possibly as a tackling dummy, but only if they don't have to pay him. Honestly, I hope the piece of filth never plays pro football again-- the CFL's too good for him.

I'll put real money down that Vick never plays another down in the NFL anywhere.
I'll put real money down that Vick never plays another down in the NFL anywhere.
I'll back that. Even if he spends "no more than a year in prison," (Atlanta Journal-Constitution speculating on a plea deal) he's done in the NFL. The league just does not need the bad publicity.
