No but I heard the last guy saying Elam will cost us 3 games because he missed a FG tonight.
And because of that and our defense, he thinks we will go 8-8.
People never cease to amaze me. Our defense package tonight was very very vanilla. Did anyone see any blitzes? Do people really think we are goign to show our new schemes in the first preseason game.
Anyway, on to the next guy.

Did anyone listen to the game on KOA online?
Just curious. I tried to get it and couldnt get it to work but it works fine now.

What a bunch of homers. Everyone that called in was saying stuff like "Conservatively speaking I don't know how we don't win at least 13 games." Some guy calls in and says 8-8 and they're like "Who is this guy?!? He's Crazy! There's no way." And was that Faderproof who called in and complained about Elam?

Not sure but, you can no longer listen to Rockies games on KOA either online because of some new MLB contract or rule or something. NFL might be doing that also, but again not sure.

Haha, that is the first thing I thought of when Sassy said someone called in to bag on Elam.

I think it has something to do with XM radio carrying games or something, I know that they don't stream the Avalanche or Nuggets anymore either. One more thing the leagues are slowly taking away soon to make it all PPV.

Elam had troubles before when Sauerbrun was holding, one of the reasons they switched to Jake. Elam's been there for awhile and is getting a little long in the tooth compared to some of the other kickers out there. Even Morton Anderson started going south later in his days.

STG will get that person's address and I guarantee we will never hear from that caller again. Didnt we have a thread by faderproof on how bad Jason was for missing a Field goal last year or 2 years ago then he came on strong, as usual, to put those mindless soccer geeks back in their place? KOA 850 comes in loud and clear out here in Orange County. If it is dark at night, they crank that 50k watt of power to the Western states of America.

Verizon tried to get me to pay for TV on my phone, no thanks. It's amazing what they can do nowadays but I don't beleive in having to pay for radio. When I drive from state to state I find it useful in understanding where I am and what the people are like by listening to the local radio stations.
One day I will buy a location free player for my PSP, it will allow me access to up to five audio/video players in my home over the internet, it can be played on my PSP, or laptop or TV anywhere in the world that I can get a wireless broadband system. If I added a 300 disc DVD player to it I could watch every movie I own almost anywhere, access a DVR or watch the Broncos from anywhere without having to pay for NFL Ticket!

I used to be able to pick it up in ND late at night.
Not so much anymore...but we do have a station that picks up either Green Bay or Denver games ... it is the KOA guys broadcasting...

As of last season you can no longer listen to the game on KOA via the internet. You can listen to the pre-game and post-game, but the NFL no longer allows the home stations to stream the games. I believe you have to go to nfl.com and pay to listen to a live stream.
It really sucks that the NFL is making the games more and more inaccessable to fans that aren't located in the geographical region of the team they follow unless you want to fork over hundreds of dollars for a rip off nfl sunday ticket package.

I know when Lou was gone from KOA for a couple of years they had a former CU Buff QB doing the grill. I think it was Charles Johnson

Yeah. I liked him more than Lou from Littleton who is the biggest homer in the world.

I can't listen to that Littleton guy... I won't even type what I call him I'll get banned. The homer part is lame but beyond that the guy has zero insight. It's just cheerleading and jive talking, worthless.

Come on Cuz. Ease up Lou from Littleton. He is just tellin' it like it is. Some guy named Mike took over for at least the first game. Let us not turn this into a Lou from littleton thread. My question is, how far can one hear KOA at night? I get it to the west coast of SoCal. I do miss The Sports talk at night during the week.

I was at Aircraft Fire and Rescue School in Helena Montana one summer and got 850. That is the furthest I have heard it myself.
