Wondering if anyone who has been to camp has noticed Morgan making an impact? I saw below and wonder if he is a darkhorse for #3 if Marshall does not pan out or make it on the practice field:

"Biography: WR Quincy Morgan

The story of the Broncos' training camp has been the injuries to several wide receivers. None of the injuries, other than Rod Smith's, appear serious. But the missed repetitions are giving other, healthy receivers a chance to shine.

Quincy Morgan is taking advantage of his extra time on the field. Morgan has been catching everything that has been thrown his way and is making a strong case to make the team. Last year, when he was signed during the season as a returner, the coaching staff liked what they saw in him as a receiver. And he has a pedigree. He has 164 career catches. And he had 56 grabs for 964 yards and seven touchdowns for Cleveland in 2002.

"I know I can help this team," Morgan said. "I'm doing what it takes."

Morgan will also get a chance to return kicks and punts."

I love him as a Kick returner, would be nice to see if he can use his speed on O also.

Folk remember the one good kick return he had last year and forget the rest. I thought he had no chance to make the team this year, but with the extra reps he is getting in camp he is making a move. He caught everything I saw yesterday.

He was a good player for the Browns, I'm not sure how it all went down hill for him.

He had several good returns last year, he was really aggresive.
I like him a lot, I'm hoping he makes the team and not only contributes as a KR but at WR. According to SoCal and Khan he is making plays at camp and is probably going to make the team.

Assuming Smith stays on the PUP, who do you keep? Javon, Marshall, Stokley, Hixon, Clark, Morgan, Kircus... cut's will be tough. How many WRs will make the team?

From what Ive read is sounds like possilbly Kircus will be cut. His play has been plagued with drops. Then you add the offseason issues and it makes the decision easier.:welcome:

Special teams is one area we HAVE to improve. Not even Dante Hall in his heyday would have been able to overcome our poor blocking last year...

He had more than one. Plus shanny didn't put him back there until late last year, I think he had been on the team for 4-6 weeks before Shanny made the switch.

I know teams like to put a RB back there now to get him to break tackles but I prefer the old school method of speed WR/CB on kickoffs. I think Morgan is serviceable if not above average at returning kicks.
