Only one is showing now ... but I "get the picture," so to speak.

I can't stand the guy, and the way he played Ron Paul was disgraceful. BUT ... he was on CHarlie Rose two nights ago, and I found him far more self-depricating and self-critical than I had imagined he would be. He talked about the mistakes he's made with choosing people around him (re: Kerick, et al), and he made some fairly pointed admissions, especially about family matters, musing that he wished he had the judgment he posseses now when he made those mistakes in years past.

He's just not presidential material ... he doesn't have the even-handed, intrellectually curious, objective approach to issues required for the job. I tell you what job I would hire him for - even under Hillary - Attorney General. His drawbacks become assets as an advocate.

What is the story about Paul and Guiliani, Buff. I missed that.

In the Republican debate - the one after the Reagan Library one - Ron Paul suggested aloud that the United States should inquire into the reasons why radical Islam hates us so much, and that we could learn much from why they hate us.

Giuliani - with loud support from the live knuckle-dragging GOP audience - chided Paul for his "shameful" statements, and dared Paul right then and there to retract his statement, saying it was "not our fault" that we were attacked on 9-11. It was pure Bush-like flag-waving nonsense.

The next day, Ron Paul issued a teacher-student like "Giuliani reading assignment," a list of books and articles about how U.S. policies in the Middle East had helped create the environment in which jihadist Islam had flourished. It was a classic retort - it gained him lotsa support from the reality-based communities ;D.

It's hilarious you make that comparison yavoon ... "reality-based community" is a comical phrase used by Stephanie Miller - the progressive radio host carried on most AirAmerica stations ;D
