View Full Version : Question for Season Ticket Holders

This is my first year as a season ticket holder, I have a question for those of you that have them. I'm obviously up in the 500's and just wondering how long it's maybe taken some of you to get lower/"better" seats?
I know they take seat improvements at the start of each year, based on priorty #... having said that, I just have 2 tickets, so I'm assuming it might be a little easier to move around in the stadium than someone with a larger # of tickets, but just wondering if you slowly inched your way down or how long it took.
Thanks!

Here's an example. One of my newer sets which I purchased in 94 started in the old 400 level on the 25yd line in the old stadium. then when they moved us into the new stadium they were relocated to the upper level 524 in the New stadium. After numerous calls reminding the broncos how long our family has supported them the were "generous enough":spit: to move them to sec 539 which is sort of an "side endzone" view. Even with my priority number I've only been able to "improve" seats twice in 13years, moving toward the 50 the lenght of the row and moving down 10 rows. My dilemna is that I am trying to keep my six seats together which makes improvements a bit more difficult.
Even though you only have two seats, your priority number is so astronomical, you should get to know your "neighbors" real well.:wiggle:

Might I ask what the cost is for first year season tickets (500 section)? I just got in line after recently moving to Denver and while I know I am many years away, I'm curious what the cost is.

Currently $390-$580 per seat per year. By the time you get tix, probably a grand+! (just guessing):~ohyah!:

Trying to keep your seats together (even just 2 can be hard, let alone 6) will really be a deterent to upgrading your tickets.

ours have been the same for awhile and no sign of changing.
that said, we really like where we're at.
we're up in 538, so we're southeast side at about the 5 yard line, but being up there in the thin air gives us a birds eye view of the game.
its a MUCH different view than you see on television or even down low in the stadium.
sure, we cant hear what the players are saying and the really close calls can be tough to see (thats what the jumbotron is for!!), but what we CAN see is EVERYTHING that happens away from the football on ANY play ANYWHERE on the field.
i wouldnt mind moving closer to center, but other than that i LIKE being up in the 500's.
just my .02.

ps- congrats!!

That's alright. The upper level tix are being passed down to my children one set at a time. Then they can do as they please. I'll sit in my field level seats until I finally croak, maybe even after that, as long as security doesn't realize I'm dead!

Our tickets were in row 27 in the south stands at the old mile high. They were great. When the action was in our end it was unbelievable, and even when it was at the north end it was ok, although you had to turn around to watch the jumbotron for goaline plays if you wanted to see what was happening. But the atmosphere made up for that little annoyance.
Alas, we weren't able to renew when the new stadium opened, I graduated college and moved to Seattle, and the only game I've seen at the new stadium was when I flew down for the 2005 afccg.

I've turned down upgrade offers (5th level as well) simply because I already know all the folks in my section and it's a grand time seeing people you know and hanging with them before/during the game.

I've had my seats (priority #1550) since the 2000 season and have only been asked once to upgrade my seats. It was prior to the 2005 season and I had a ton of options. The ticket people said that a lot of season ticket holders had had enough after the Broncos got blown out against the colts again.
IMO- Unfortunatley, the only way you're going to move quickly is if the Broncos go into a multi year tailspin.

I think you might be off a bit with that priority #. Priority 1550 was issued back in the early 60s.
Maybe 15000!

you are correct...except I bought my tickets the last year you were able to sell the rights. The seller had the seats since the 60's and only wanted $1000 for the rights to keep the priority #.

128....my seats at the old Milie High would be in the (342)Club level at Invesco.
It was either the lowerlevel/endzone or the upperdeck when they made the move.

Does anyone know where I can get a specific seating chart?
(i.e. which seat is closest to the aisle, etc)

I can't find a map that shows which seat is closest to the aisle, but you could probably call up the ticket office for that. 502 is the best section in the stadium!:D

Must be doing well in poker...Seems like a lot of people moved down, I'll be in 228 for the raiders game and then probably going to be in the 500s for the rest of the year.
