The loss of al Wilson took this from an elite unit to a mediocre one. I seriously think that DJ Williams will be much better than Zach Thomas in this scheme due to his pass coverage abilities and Ian Gold is finally going to get some help from the front four in stopping the run. I really think this ranking is too low even with DD Lewis, Eddie moore, or anyone else at Sam in this system. I mean Spragan played well in 2004 at Sam and they were much better agains the run and pass then.

i can't disagree. DJ has yet to show that he's anything more than a mid level LB who can tackle. There's a reason Holdman's been around and Gold is solid but not a star. Not one of our strongest Lb corps as of late.
