I think i got a pretty solid team, My guess is i might want to improve my WR crops. Im thinking i might be able to trade gates or gonzales for a nice WR. Thanks again for your time and consideration guys.
You need WR help.... but not at the expense of a top WR.
Jeff Garcia as a back up qb LOL

I think Matt Jones has a good year this year....and you could use roy williams....Gates is scary to get rid of though

You're too Bronco heavy....
I'm as big a fan as anyone but it's never a good idea in fantasy to have too many players from the same team...
your WR corps ain't all bad either btw....boldin & driver are #1 receivers...marshall has a chance to be good....but not ready to be a number 3 quite yet...
I'd say your team is pretty solid though....but i don't know how many teams are in your league...
plus is it a keeper league or not?

Do it!
Willkiams is MUCH better than Jones and will give you consistent scoring. Of course Gates is better than Whitten - but the difference isn't as great as the advantage you get at WR. Plus you will then choose between Graham and Whitten on a match-up basis.

HeŽd still have Gonzo also. Maybe he can use Gonzo and someone else to get a third RB or a decent back up QB.

How many teams in this league? Jesus how did you end up with such a strong team? Either people in that league are stupid or there are only 8 teams?

I have no clue, sometimes these live drafts are wierd, i had the last pick so i got to pick two times in a row so i cornered the TE position and i took Gates and Gonzalez in hopes that someone with a weak TE will help me out.

Who was your 1st round pick? Henry?
I would definetely do that trade if I was you considering you have Gonzo on the bench, and your WRs are pretty bad fantasy wise.

First of all, you have to many players from the same team, they all have the same bye week.

That's a strong team if you have already slurped down so much Bronco Kool-Aid that you can't see straight.

thinking of trading gonzalez to a team with weak TE for a Wr upgrade
One team has
His TE is Kellen Winslow (probably not interested in tony but worth a shot)
Wr's
colston from NO
evans from buf
another
Starting TE: Owen Daniels from the Texans
Wr's
R. Moss
H Ward
Reggie Brown from phili
Another
Starting TE: Lj Smith
Wr's
Marvin Harrison
Javon Walker
I think the guy with owen daniels on his team will go for tony gonzalez and a filler for Moss dont you guys think or is Moss a bad Idea. Or Tony and a filler for Javon? What do u guys think about these moves?

Too many Broncos on your team, first rule of fantasy is play with your head not your heart. Cutler being in only his first full season is a gamble as a starter. And the fact that Denver plays almost the entire second half of the season on the road will make it tough on your stats. Good luck to you though

If I was you I would probably try and bundle Gates, Cutler, and Westbrook or Henry for a top flight RB or QB/WR/Something.

Gates, Cutler, and Westbrook/Henry for a top flight RB/QB/WR/Something.
Thinking about making a counter offer to that team.
Roy Williams Steven Jackson for Gates and Westbrook/ Henry/ filler
Which would you guys keep henry or westbrook?

You probably won't get a player of Steven Jackson's value no matter what you offer. Roy Williams looks like he's be a good pick up though.

Yea i want to keep Gates while picking up another nice WR so i offered that guy Tony/Joe Horn/Matt Jones for Roy Williams and Witten
If i where to trade away Henry or Westbrook, which one do you think i should trade away.

This guys starting TE is Owens Daniels so he REALLY needs help at TE. Kind of one sided but he might bite on it

Very solid team.
Vick is gonna be suspended, meaning Warrick Dunn should get more touches.
Start Dunn, and bench Brandon Marshall.
Trade Tony Gonzalez ASAP
Keep Henry and Westbrook. You need that depth right now at RB bad.
Cut Joe Horn, pick up the other Falcon back, Jerius Norwood I think. With only 10 teams there is alot of talent on the Waiver Wire, look for a Seahawk WR, I forgot his name but he is a decent sleeper, perhaps trade Tony and pick up Anthony Gonzalez of the Colts...

The more and more i think about it the more and more i think all my team needs is a upgrade at my 3rd WR. Im thinking of trading tony gonzalez for someone like andre johnson from houston or maybe a hines ward. They are pretty much the same rated players although that doesnt matter but some of these newbies actually look at that stuff to determine if they accept or reject

Every year I pick that guy up off the waiver wire, nothing.
Reggie Williams emerged, then dropped like 4 balls and was ghost. Jagwads QB issues scare me. I wouldn't waste a pick on Matt Jones until the 10th round if that.

Only two guys I would want on the Jags in fantasy football and they play the same position, Taylor and Jones-Drew. I would prefer the younger back.
Of course that defense isn't too shabby at all.

I may have missed it throughout the thread, but it depends on a few things.
1 - scoring for the league
2 - size of the league
3 - starting roster
Initially, as many have stated, you're too heavy with Broncos. It's never good to build a fantasy team based on the team you love.
You are most weak at backup QB and RB. ATL is up in the air with Vick, but if he plays... you have him and Norwood stealing TDs and yards from Dunn. Garcia had a nice story in 2006, but with the Bucs... the upside is nice, but he scares me as your #2.
WRs - I think you're fine there for now, but would be nice to have a more consistent point producer as your #3. Marshall, Horn and Jones are inconsistent.
TE - very solid, esp with Gates and Gonzo
That being said though - "Some guy is offering me roy williams and jason whitten for gates and matt jones. What you guys think?"
I'm all over this deal.
You add a TOP WR to the mix of Boldin and Driver, losing Jones has a minimal impact and replacing Gates with Witten isn't too terribly bad, IMO - ESP since you have Gonzo.
I think that's a no-brainer deal.
You should consider something that allows your to bolster your #3 RB after pulling the trigger on this trade though.
If you have Boldin, Driver and Williams - you're sitting pretty at WR. You can now trade Marshall. I would try and package Marshall and Dunn, or Marshall and Garcia for something better at QB or RB, depending on what other teams need.
I understand that it's not appealing to lose Gates and it doesn't help the over-population of Broncos on your team, but that is a trio of WRs that can set your team up for greatness.
Cutler should be solid and I like your top 2 RBs.

Off track question:
How do you operate keeper league? Does each team just keep a guy from last year and that is that? Seems like the guy with LT will run away again with our league, cuz he has the 1st pick in the draft too! Should he have to give up something else?
