Finding a throw back with #44 is proving to be quite the challenge. Any input would be appreciated.

I'd say have one made. A couple of years ago we had a thread about getting some jerseys made, but none of us followed through with it. I think the deal was that we were going to find a company that makes jerseys, give them the specs of the jerseys that we wanted, and they would make them in bulk for a really good price. It would probably be way cheaper than buying one of those M&N jerseys.

I was just on Ebay, looking up Terrell Davis jerseys. I came across this one. This guy can't be serious.

Maybe it's the times I look, but I've not found anything there.

Yeah, it can certainly be hit and miss depending on what you desire.

I've searched the world online for a Little jersey that was correct...all I could come up with are a bunch that are like the Davis one above (wrong color orange and sleeve stripes) that were supposedly signed by the Man (it looks kinda fishy to me) and one of the 4's on the front is mis-sewn so it's higher than the other one....not a good deal.

I wish the Broncos would come out with a knockoff retro for Little....(I mean, they did it for Mecklenberg and Atwater, why not?) but I'm not holding my breath for it. I actually gave up on it.

Bill's Sports Collectibles in Denver sells homemade throwback jerseys. They have Little, Gradishar, Sharpe and others. It's heavyweight jersey and all the numbers and lettering is tackle-twill double stiched (two pieces of material rather than one with screen printing around the edges.) They sell them for about $150. I know the lady who sews them, she did my custom jerseys. I tried to buy some jerseys to have them customized at my leisure but I was gonna be taken for a ride. Cost from the factory was about $24 for a jersey but the "Middle" man wanted another $25 per jersey before the $45 for lettering and name plates, so I couldn't afford to buy a gross of them.

They aren't quite the burnt orange of the 70's it's more of the 80's-90's orange. The stripes are fine, but they have a Rawlings logo sewn on the left shoulder. It's not perfect but pretty close.

Are either of these guys legit, do you know?

Because yeah, I'd be very interested in either of those.

Actually, I wanted a Lepsis jersey once, and Meck or maybe it was Meck77 gave me instructions where to go to have it made. PM him.

You'd think the Broncos team store would sell #44 and other greats. The one at the stadium displays them, but doesn't sell them. I've always wanted a current Broncos #44 jersey in blue. Don't think they sell retired players' numbers either.

ebay best bet.
