Nice find.
He certainly knows where the QB can be found.

If his head is screwed on right, and he can avoid the bud, we will have the steal of the draft...
This guy is going to be good.....

Aside from being great at penetrating the pocket, I love his closing burst onto the quarterback... it's what seperates a sack from a thrown away loss of down.

I really could care less as long as he doesn't get caught... I'm having a whizzinator sent to Dove Valley immediately.

Excellent video. He has a lot of potential and i'm glad he's a Bronco.

That one shot on the QB look like it hurt a good deal. He had a few open holes in that vid but it did show him beating 2 several times.

he kind of reminds me of Trevor Pryce.....hopefully he doesn't disappear in big games

I liked how he was able to get by Grubbs (first-rounder) and Duckworth in the Auburn game. Granted those are highlights, but it really goes to show what kind of impact he can have if he stays completely clean. Defensive tackles with his potential are few and far between so the Broncos should consider themselves lucky if he reaches his potential.

Thomas is better then Trevor imo. Trevor drove me nuts when he went awol in big games just like Wilson. :)

That would be nice indeed, but I'd hold off on making that comparision just yet. Trevor was pretty damn good.

I know I put lofty expectations but, remember as good as Trevor rep was it wasn't all the time only when he wanted too. I think Thomas is every bit as talented and more ready right now then Trevor was coming in.

There were a few decent plays but there were a whole lot of open holes. I don't quite understand highlight videos where they show him running free to tackle the QB. Granted, I bet it was fun for him but that doesn't really show much. The speed was pretty impressive though, looked like he can move. I wish we could know the truth about his playing weight in those videos though. I've heard everything from 290ish to like 320ish.

I love the pick...but at this level...people will actually block him.

I certainly hope so, but I'd like to see him actually play in the NFL first. But here's to hoping

Yeah, he was pretty much untouched on most of those plays. I really didn't see him push the pocket or shed a blocker to get in the backfield. That being said, he looks like he has a great motor. Just think how fast he'd have gotten to the QB if he wasn't baked.

Was I seeing things, or was that highlight vid basically 5 plays shown from 3-4 different angles?
I think we got a pretty good player in Marcus Thomas, but that was not a wow video in my mind.
I can't wait until he is sacking Rivers like the MSU QB.

He looked like he was running around guys, that they weren't quick enough to block him. He's going to have to adjust to NFL speed (he has already said that the Bronco O-Line is tough to beat) but imagine him in there next to a healthy Warren, operating under Bates' scheme, with guys like Dumervil and Moss coming off of the edge. Could be trouble for our opponents.

I think I saw that last year but that defense was wearing the uniform of the Indianapolis Colts. Apparently teams can run over the top of two moderately sized DTs pretty easily.

He really uses his hands well. Keeps them and and is good and preventing other offensive linemen from getting their hands inside.

I saw him uppercut through the G or centers armpit to gain leverage a few times, an then drive through that hole.

At the 130 mark he goes outside and gets a great hit. He has a sweet spin move for a tackle. One thing Florida used alot in those highlights were stunts in which led to him being nearly unblocked, firing right through the LG from accross the center. He showed some great burst for a DT, very very quick.

We'll see. I like the way that Colts D handled themselves in the playoffs, though.

I remember an incredible play that Pryce made -- several years ago. I forget against who -- but it was an amazing show of what he could do. Pryce muscled his way around the end -- got to the QB -- forced a fumble -- then recovered it.
It was awesome to watch -- a one man D.

Check out the Crowder video. He breaks through, grabs the QB, steals the ball, and walks in for a TD. Pretty cool.
