I think the Raiders game is a little high and I think the Saints will do better than that playing the Colts.

I expect Travis Henry to have more than 1 catch for 10 yards. More like 4 -5 catches for 50-60 yards.

I like how Mike Bell had 4 receiving yds but no receptions.. that goes along well with Cutler throwing for over 180 yds while everyone only caught for about 150. Apparently the other 20 yds Cutler threw to himself. And where's Hixon?

Definitely agreed, the last two years have been rather disappointing season openers.

The Bills are pretty tough on defense, but who knows.

That looks more like a Jake Plummer stat line.

that is weird....it says Jay Cutler threw 1 touchdown yet none of the receivers caught a TD?

According to their week 1 projections, the AFCW would look like this:
1. Denver 1-0
2. Kansas City 1-0
3. Oakland 1-0
4. San Diego 1-0

You know, I'm always the optimist, but this game troubles me. We've been losing season openers. We've been losing "easy" games. And we've been losing when we travel to the east coast. All of which bodes ill.
But if we have indeed entered a new era, let's see if we can right all those recent wrongs. As others have said, screw the stats. I'll be happy with a simple win.

Looks like KC has already won the superbowl.

Maybe it was a pass to someone like Scheff, Hixon, Kircus or Sapp.
But I have no idea how someone can go ahead and post fantasy projections for week 1 already. Who knows who will get cut, injured, move up or down the depth chart in training camp.

Last two regular season openers we played like s**t on offense against the Rams and Miami.

He could of done a story on Beckham! :P
I figure that Shanny started Hixon on Defense and he got the sacks for us. He also had a pick, 7 passes defensed and also had a KO return of 109 yards. And he only played the first 3 series and then had to go to zurich to help solve world peace.

Yeah, I hate to be on the bring-down wagon, but season openers on the road are no good. :(
Let's hope for a change of fortune.

Also, Chargers/Bears is going to be a great game. Talk about Offense vs. Defense.
Wonder how we scored on D, shows 3 tds scored but only 2 accounted for on O.
I'm gona go ahead and give it to champ

I just realized something. They have Cutler with one pass td, Henry with one rush td, Bell with one rush td, Elam 3-3 on xp and 4-4 on fg. So that makes Denver scoring 33 points but they are projected to beat the Bills 26-18. ???

I'm sure Hixon returns a KO for a TD.
Normally defenses are ahead of offenses early in the season. It takes time to get in synch and you need to play other teams in order to do that. Practicing against your own defense, well, you get to know them pretty well so it's not like going up against somebody new, plus, the other team is out of REAL blood so to speak.
I don't mind going to Buffalo to open the season. I hate the turf but I hate it even worse in December. I'm glad we'll be making that trip in Sept instead.
My predictions:
Champ picks off Losman once. Henry goes for 150 yards and 2 TD's. Walker gets 120 yards and 1 TD. Elam nails 2 FG's. 27 - 13 Broncos win.
