After watching Rod Smith struggle to get open for most of the season.

This hurts me to read, i don't think Rod will do well this year.

Don't count him out. Rod I think will get his hip healthy and return to the lineup. I think he will look at the team and say OK where can I find a role to play my last year on my terms? I think he will find it and do it. I'm not sure what it will be but I'm not going to doubt his determination to get it done. Don't be surprised if he grabs 30-40 balls somehow ,and makes a difference in a game or 2.

I thought so too. It was filled with optimism, but also telling us the things Denver needs to work on. I was so ready for last season after coming off the horrible loss against Pitt in the AFC Championship, but this season has me much more excited.

Any health update on Scheffler by the way? Him and Cutler had such great chemistry in the preseason and the end of last year. The signing of Graham I think is going to turn out real good not only in the blocking game but it gives Cutler a 2nd solid TE to rely on.

San Diego was 14-2 last year, not 13-3. Great research, SI!

Eh he didn't care to look as there were probably only 2 or 3 SD fans who would really know and care. Most the other "fans" have lost their focus again.

I like the part where every paragraph starts with the word "after". The constant typos were a close second.

Which aspect of his writing did you find so great?

Good point.

I am not looking for a big year from Rod. I want Rod to get healthy. He still has time on the clock. If they are grooming him for WR coach he might have more of a sideline role but don't underestimate what that means. There is nothing more dangerous on the field than a player you leave unaccounted for.

Cutler does have key weapons at every position but is he going to be able to spread the ball around is hard to tell. I hope that Cutler gets some designed run plays just so that teams get an glimpse of versatility.

Is Gerald Warren no longer a starting DT for the Denver Broncos?

While he may not be on point with everything- this is by far the closest thing to a national media story that truly reflects the AFC West next season.

Buck Brooks is a horrible writer.

Definitely. He struggles to write decent sentences, his punctuation is atrocious and he even misspelled 'Shanahan' (as 'Shannahan').

But the issues identified, the info about them, and even the conclusions were right on the money. Chefs and Chargers too (didn't read the fade).

I could care less about typos or the word "after". His takes were right on and he offered some insight.

Why don't you go start another "fire Shanarat" thread?

I'm cutting the guy slack and seeing where he's coming from. I really hated that site too.

Maybe on this thread but I just can't stand him. He is just an idiot. His on my ignore now anyway. I can't take the stress of stupid posters.

I have just crossed the 10 person mark on my ignore list, somewhat of a milestone!!

I have zero posters on ignore.

Oh yeah...Matt's thread sez:
Fire Shanahan is done.
There are more important things that all of us as Broncos fans need to worry about now. The site served to stir up controversy that I feel is no longer appropriate.

It's just a game afterall.

Shanahan has never done anything to deserve a site like that. I'm glad that you corrected your error but what you did for me is confirm something about fans in general. We all are self centered conceited little pricks.
