I listened to the clip and I didn't hear any reference to his POW experience.

thats the problem ...... McCain is completely Bat**** now , but he served this country , when Bush and Cheney didnt ..... that deserves some respect , and should have been taken into account before making this song ......

I agree.
Had the song explicitly made fun of his POW experience I, personally, would have found that offensive.
He deserves the utmost respect for his service, but when all is said and done, he is fair game for satire just like any other politician, IMO.
If you choose to suit up and take the field then be prepared to take some hits.
