And Cutler's wasn't a joke? That was Brodie's first ever NFL action. I remember seeing Cutler being pulled down by a Seahawk at home and just lofting the ball straight in the air for an INT. Those are what young QB's look like.
And your comparison of Brodie to Plummer is laughable. Plummer is more mobile, but Croyle has a very strong arm and something Plummer never had..confidence.

Who care's who KC drafted in the past? That was with a different coach. Herm has shown he can draft WR's. He drafted Santana Moss and Jerricho Cotchery in NY.

Oh and Morris had a fairly good rookie year and you forget that Joe Horn was drafted by KC.

I'm not saying these guys are all stars. They are young players who helped our defense become a lot better last year and should be even better this year.
