Just reported on NFL Live. William Laird Cowher says he's enjoying retirement more than he ever thought possible.

He's earned it. He has plenty of money in the bank and now he can enjoy the rest of his life doing as he pleases (just like Plummer)

He will be back on the sidelines either in the NFL or in NCAA when his youngest daughter graduates from HS and leaves the house next year. He may not take another job immediately, but I am convinced that heŽll get tired sooner or later when the house is empty.

He's got an association with the Kansas City Chiefs...
I wonder if the Hunts would ever consider giving him a GM job. I don't know that Cowher is qualified to do a GM job, but that hasn't stopped the Chiefs for the last 20 odd years. I don't know why that would matter now.

That's true, though Carl would have to retire. The fans are happy with the mediocre product they produce over there, so it's not like he's on the hot seat.
