Support torture?

I don't, because it lowers us to thier level. How can we expect any country to respect us if we act like animals ourselves.

Not to mention, how can we expect them to treat our captured soldiers with any dignity if we do not.

Thanks to that TRAITOR John McCain, and Cheney, we torture and can expect the same for our troops.

My Brothers and Sisters in Iraq!!!

Cheney got it all authorized years ago, secretly, of course.

It's hard to believe there is a human being out there that thinks the way you do.

Any information that is gained via torture is suspect at best... when a person is under torture, they'll say anything (true or false) to put an end to their ordeal. And if we condone torture, then we're no better than other countries (mostly theocracies and dictatorships) that utilize it. We lose the "moral high ground" by allowing a practice that most civilized societies perceive as "wrong".

Yep. :yep:

Interesting how this concept is almost always completely lost on the average Bush supporter.

To the average Bush supporter, all moral questions are simply reduced to "might makes right."

It's not surprising that so many Bush supporters are also religious fundamentalists.

Exactly.

Maxims such as "always err on the side of life" only apply to stem cells and fetuses - not Iraqi children.
