I just received a call from my old employer where i worked in 05 telling me that they would like me to come back. I was making pretty good money in sales with them. They loved my work ethic and effort to succeed. This couldn't come at a better time. With the season right around the corner, i need some cash for tickets and airfare.

And further more, i feel like the second time around i may need to work harder to get back the level i was at. You're advice and input is welcomed.

Inside sales, leasing. They set up leases for companies that are looking to buy equipment and varouis other things. Its warm calling, but im pretty good on the phone and have the gift of gab. I was taking home about 4k a month working there, which is pretty good money for me.

They want you back huh?

Its not like you called begging for your old job back...so hopefully you can leverage this in your favor in regards to your salary negotiation.

Well, i seen that they were looking for a new wave of employees to come in so, i sent them my resume and they called me back saying they would love to have my back. But maybe i can work something out as far as the base goes.

Yeah, I would think that your prior experience with the company should get you a better wage than some newbie off the street

Heck, if they are bringing in a whole slew of new guys - why dont you go for a team lead/supervisor position (if possible)?

You already said they liked your work ethic, etc.

Best of luck to you. Personally, I prefer staying late at the office, and stealing things I can pawn.
