And no, not David "Roids" Boston.

The city.

I'll be moving to the Boston area in the fall, and I was wondering if there were any fellow Bronco fans in Boston. I won't be in a position to get Sunday Ticket (or likely even have a TV), so I was wondering if anyone knew of or frequented sports bars in the Boston area (preferably closer to Cambridge, where I'll be living). Any help whatsoever would be appreciated.

I realize that there aren't likely to be many Denver fans in Massachusetts, but I was hoping I might find a few. And before anyone gets pissed about this thread, I waited till I had 100 posts to start it. If thats some consolation.

Cool.....congrats and good move!

Plenty of good bars in and around Boston that play all the games, so no worries there. And we've got a few eastern Mass residents that post regularly here (a few Broncos fans and a few Pats fans), though I don't believe any of us actually live downtown.

Sorry man.....not as familiar with the bar scene as I used to be....I guess that's what being 34 years old with 3 young daughters does to you.....

Besides, I have Sunday Ticket......:strong:

My initial recommendations for you would be (1) Good Time Emporium in Somerville and (2) Gillian's over by Fenway Park....both would be easy for you to get to using the T.

That, or you'll just have to head up north of the city and invade either my place or 55's, considering we both have the Ticket.....and the beers and wings would probably be cheaper.

The Peoples Republic of Cambridge huh. I lived in Cambridge for about a year and liked it a lot . There is a lot to do but definitely a lot of weirdos as well (especially near Harvard SQ) Where abouts will you live ? I liked my single years across the river in Boston (the poor mans side of Beacon Hill) better. I live about 18 miles south on the coast and take the commuter downtown everday. Boston is a great sports town (one of the Best) full of great sports bars but it is fiercely loyal to the home teams. I am a Pats season ticket holder so I don't watch games in the bars. I asked a friend of mine who is from California(not a Pats fan)and he recommended Stadium Sports Bar & Grill 232 Old Colony Ave, South Boston. They just built one in Foxwoods as well and it has Sunday ticket. It is a straight shot on the red line from one of the Cambridge stops to Andrew station and a 1 1/2 block walk. Maybe I'll see you at the stadium next year when the Broncos come to down. I'll be hosting ak1971 and bronco billy at the tailgate. Welcome to Boston !

Actually I'm going up for college, and will be living on campus at MIT. SO I can hop on the red line at Kendall Square and go straight there. Thanks to everyone for the info.
