The guy is a great tackle, watched him a ton at USC, he was the 52nd pick overall 3 yrs ago by dallas, when did we get him? With him and harris thats exciting youth up front at tackle.

He had microfrature surgery on his knee (never good) and Parcells cut him because he didn't think he had the drive to play in the NFL.

Guy looks like he came from the California Penal League. But, if you click on the link, you can get his jersey!

There was a discussion when he was signed. General opinion was he was injured and lazy

That seems to be the default reaction in here to almost anybody signed that doesn't match with initial expectations from the team he came from whether there is anything to it or not.

Parcells was ridiculous with his treatment of injured players. He basically insisted this kid play when he was injured. He went back on the field and tried to play and tore his knee up even worse. Parcells has an ego thing going on and some kind of power trip with rookies. If a rookie gets hurt he goes straight to the dog house if he can't play. He called this kid out in the media and insinuated he was a wuss and not tough enough for the NFL. Recall that he once did this with Terry Glenn too, but he's had a nice NFL career. If it is true, it's odd that the NFL scouts didn't see this...something that would have stood out easily. He's got talent. The question is whether his knee is OK and whether his psyche is intact. He could be a player on a team known for reclamation projects...I'm not counting him out.

The dude doesn't get all-american by being a wuss. Parcells is a tool, and his ego is why...

Every player Denver signed this year outside of Henry Posters called Lazy. That seems to be the favorite fallback description on players posters know little about.

He's a big kid, that's for sure. I would expect to see him spend a year on the practice squad if nothing else. Getting a kid like that to build confidence in a system like Denver has can only be good. Give him a shot. If not, he can have Kircus' old job as a sandwich artist.
