Down here in Texas where it is a billion degrees above zero , Ever since I got here ,My truck has been as hot as hell ....... I didnt turn my water valve off , so when i had on A/C it has been blowing heat ........ I am sweating like an expecting Father with the clap ..........

with these old Cats , you have to shut the water valve off to the heater core , or you just get hot air ...........Piss poor design .....I am about ready to go inside the truck stop where it is cool

Those old systems suck. Here is how you fix the problem if your interested. Get your ass in the truck..........roll down the windows..........point the truck north.........drive like hell
