View Full Version : Titans agree to 3-year deal with Herndon
John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports free-agent CB Kelly Herndon (Seahawks) has accepted a three-year contract to play for the Tennessee Titans. Financial terms were not available, but his salary was substantial enough to be a consideration for the starting job and at worst to be the team's third cornerback.

It'll be good for Kelly to go there, opportunity to start - plus maybe they'll let Michael Griffin play safety now, PLEASE.

kind of cool he is fighting for a starting job but in Denver he would be no better than a dime back.

Well he should thank Pac-Man for being a knuckle-head. Or Hernd would be signing for less and playing dime.

Herndon was a decent player for the Broncos. At one time he was arguably one of the best player on the D. Signed off the waiver wire from the jets, I believe. Apparently, Walls was valued higher and Herndon was let go. He would have been good to keep around, but that's water under the bridge I guess.
