When is it and how do you get in ? Need tickets ? If so how much ?
What would be the best day to go ? I mean I'll be on vacation and don't have the whole week and would hate
to get there the day all they have praticing is kickers...lol

It's at the Broncos headquarters, and it's free. Not sure the exact dates.

Jetmeck. Opening day is always fun. Great energy from the crowd and the team. Then it's hit and miss like Kaylore said and the unpredictable weather shakes things up for sure. Best bet is soak in as much as you can as you never know what you'll see. It's a blast. Just watch out for Fred. He's probably ready to beat some people up.Ha!

yeah, i busted it out @ the KC game last year...it took the focus away from the ***C shirt quite well...i seriously had 30 or so people lined up in the parking lot at the game taking pics of angela taking out the center braid and spring my hair orange and almost all of em were chief fans...it was great!

A report in the Dallas media here three days ago said that the Cowboys will practice against Denver similar to how we have against Houston in the past. Interesting move...going against the Charger's defense in the summer.

Mornings are always "safer" for camp in that usually everyone practices. Afternoons some vets are held out or it could be ST practices.

I won't to go the first week if not the first two. I try and go until the first preseason game. After that everyone can see for themselves how everyone is doing so I don't really see a need. This year my job situation is a little different, so we'll have to see how that plays into things.

If your job interferes with your camp reports, you're quitting. That's just how it works around these here parts.

Hixon told me that if Kaylor is not at Training Camp he is going to end the world. The choice is up to you Kaylor, work or the loss of civilization as we know it. Whats it gonna be Kaylor? ;D
I also suggest hitting the morning practice. You have more of a chance seeing the players. The afternoon practice is when you run the risk of only getting special teams. Also if you want to get autographs dedicate a session to waiting in line. The line gets really long so you will miss out if you watch the practice.

If it does start on the 30th then I'll be good to go.... later in the week. I think my Mom is coming up to see the house and visit some old friends in Canon City, but I think she'll be heading out around the 3rd of Aug. Hopefully we'll be able to catch some good days/weather after that.

I used to drive from Rapid City to Greeley for training camp and to tell you the truth I always found trining camp kind of boring. Going to the Bronco shop was a better experience for me.

I want to hit TC this year again also. We went last year, and my 10 year old niece was crushed that the autograph line closed before we got to the front of it. Damn the time constraints. We will be there again one of the days. And I LOVE the idea of the RIP DWILL jersey, I think that's awesome! I want one of those!

Cameras are allowed but not the big guns like Pezman uses. Buddy of mine was told he couldn't have his because it had a big telephoto lens. Maybe Fred was just having a bad day though.

Not just Fred. I've seen people stopped at the entry and told they had to return their SLR cameras with a telephoto lens back to their car.

Hey Dukes, are you gonna jump into the kind of detailed daily camp reporting that Kaylore and SoCal do? You three and a couple more proteges are whats needed to cover 1st, 2nd and 3rd team drills going on simultaneously each day. What can the Mane do to encourage more amateur reporters to work the sidelines of Dove Valley in August?

We'll have a grill available and coolers if anyone needs a place to store some refreshments or food while at the morning practice. We'll fire the grill up for a few hours while we wait for the afternoon practice. It's always fun to hang out there, throw the football around, mingle with Broncos fans etc.
I love the energy of opening day training camp!

Meck is on the way. He should be here at Orange Foce One H.Q. around 01:00 and we will be at Traning Camp around 08:00. This will be a "POT LUCK" style get togetther. We have some cooolers and a pit if you want to throw your dogs on the grill or your Beer in the cooler. Bring extra ice if you have it as I bought only 40 lbs.of ice. See ya in the A.M.
