View Full Version : Hixon is taking on gangs (Seriously)

This is a great story. Nick Ferguson took a bunch of players down to meet with some children and teach them to stay away from gangs. Included amongst these men was our very own superstar Hixon. He dominates the interview process (as he should).

It's OM making fun of itself. Every year, the forum settles on one or two low level draft picks or undrafted free agents and blows them up into future superstars. Then they fizzle.

So someone picked Hixon this year to lampoon that process and started telling Chuck Norris jokes about Hixon. It snowballed from there.

This shows a serious lack of respect for the phenomenon that is Hixon. Don't come crying to me when he roundhouse-kicks your front door in.

you mean all the Hixon banter is make believe? Not from me I once saw Hixon catch 3 football all at the same while doing a backflip.

I'll laugh my ass off if Hixon gets cut. I can see the threads right now.

Hixon leaves team to save starving children

Hixon cut after long night of saving the world

Football not challenging enough: Hixon leaves to fight dragon

Hixon poisoned with U238 by terroists: takes leave of abscence

Yeah I've been reading all this Hixon stuff as well. Sad thing is not one of them has been funny.

The kid actually has decent talent and if he can stay healthy, should make some noise on the return teams.

I think a lot of people here are genuinely excited about him, kidding aside. He is very fast, and can return kicks and punts, which is an added bonus.

And his work to talk to kids about gangs is pretty cool too.

how crazy will it be to look back on these Hixon threads if Hixon actually turns into pretty good contributer for the team, which is actually possible considering his speed and ability in the return game.

Yeah that's pretty cool, that and the fact the he beat both Chuck Norris and Tedy Bruschi arm wrestling; at the same time!!

Some people can hope a kid does well and make jokes about them at the same time.

Of course, this is a skill that Hixon himself mastered before he was 6 months old.

One of the OM obscure draft pick crazes has to be right eventually. It might as well be Hixon. And who knows, maybe he CAN end hunger and bring about world peace. Todd Devoe and Kevin Kasper couldn't.

This is only because Hixon has not written them. He has super speed, super hands, he must have super humor.

You have absolutely zero sense of humor then. Because there has been Comedy gold in some of these Hixon tangents.

I hope Hixon is the answer for returns but if not he still has world peace to conquer.

I think Hixon has a ton of potential to contribute this year and have an even bigger role in the future.

Nobody expect Steve Smith to burst into this star WR when he was doing so well in just the return game.

I think Hixon will take one or two to the house this year and have a number of "close" ones as well. Who knows if he'll turn into a long term #3 or future star at WR... but his play in the OTA's suggests he'll be more than just a return specialist.

Long term #3 WR, boy you better watch your back. Hixon doesn't take too kindly to slaps in the face like that. Seriously thought, what happens if Brandon Marshall and Hixon both become studs and number 1 type guys. Of course this is a huge hypothetical. Do you trade one of your talented WR's further down the road to address other areas or do you just keep all 3 and play more 3 WR sets? I would love to have that situation arise because with 3 great WR's you have many directions you can go.

I think the 3 WR sets will mostly depend on whether Scheffler is fully healthy or not.

Graham.

Seriously... or situation at receiver is quite favorable. Only one supterstar, but a bunch of upper-mid range receivers.

We should have fun with the 3/4 WR and the 2 TE sets next year.

HIXON took Gene Kranz's Lead on Gangs! Check out my Sig.

HIXON & KRANZ are Gods in my new religion. HIXON has Mercury type powers & Gene is like the dude that followed the string out of Hades, Orpheus?

Did Orphus become a god? I do not remember my myths & Mock is not here to correct me.

It isnt meant to be funny. It is true to the word. You, my friend, need a little humor in your life if you dont understand the Hixon thread. I suggest you try out Chief Planet to get your humor unintentional. Remind me not to invite you to my birthday party. I am having a clown and you just wont understand him.

Who needs 3 WR when all we need is Hixon and to make sure the cheerleaders are at the other end of the endzone cheering him on.

Anyone who doesnt buy into the HixonHype machine is a simple minded nitwit....he has the speed, hands, agility, toughness, charisma, humor, good looks, wits, savvy, and drive to not only succeed as an NFL wide reciever but political candidate as well

For every touchdown he scores this year, $10000 will be donated to hunger relief efforts.....

By November famine will be over
