America's Game - 1998 Denver Broncos DVD

Well, I finally got this after almost 5 months. I ordered it in late January. Not much more than what was shown on NFL Network. Maybe 7 or 8 little extra segments about Elway, Sharpe, TD, Bubby, and Schlereth. I am not sure it is worth the 5 month wait, but it is worth the 20 bucks.

Just got mine. '97 and '98 together. had forgotten lots of the "drama" of those two seasons: Romo spitting; new uni's losing late in the season etc etc. just goes to show, you can turn around a season in a few games.

What a great Superbowl.

No matter how many Superbowls come and go, the greatness of that game remains unsurpassed. Elway vs. Favre. With Favre a heavy favorite. Terrell Davis comes into the game having had a brilliant season capped by a brilliant playoffs. TD fights through a migraine to dominate the game. TD ends up being the difference in a back-and-forth shootout between two excellent offenses. The Duke himself puts it all on the line for a huge third down conversion in the red-zone, at which point the team says "we are NOT losing this game!" and rallies to pull it out.

What a great memory!

i'll go ahead and admit it. damn DVD brought tears to my eyes. what a season. ups and downs. all the way to the last final seconds. Thank you Mr Mobley.
