Prior to execution, inmate's mind on Raiders

Posted: 1 hour ago

This won't do much to dispel the bad image of Raiders fans.
Robert Comer, fading to a lethal injection in Arizona, uttered the phrase "Go Raiders" in his final moments, according to the Arizona Republic.
Comer was sentenced to death for a brutal 1987 crime spree that left one man dead.

However, Arizona hadn't executed anyone since 2001 and Comer was forced to fight for the right to be executed. He spent much of the last seven years convincing appeals courts he was competent to withdraw his appeals, saying he owed it to his victims, society and himself to fulfill his sentence.

What amazes me most about this guy's story is the fact that he did everything possible to speed up the process by refusing appeals, admitting guilt and asking to be put to death, etc.......and it STILL took 20 years to put him to death for his crimes. This system is truly flawed.

This should be reason one to use the death penalty on non violent crimes. Get 'em now before they do.

If I was a raiders fan, I'd want to be put out of my misery, as well.

Would you want to suffer through one more season of Raiders football? Stringing it out for 20 years fits the description of cruel and unusual punishment, in my opinion.

I'm really surprised that "Real Sports" os some other show like that has not yet done a "hidden camera expose" on the life of the visiting team fan inside the former Oakland Coliseum.

It's only a matter of time until you will see a Broncos or Chiefs fan get ****ed up on HBO, for the masses to see. The closest we have is that Raider fan stabbing that Chargers fan at Qualcomm.
