Odd it mentions the 83 hailstorm that cost us a...I won't even say.
People think Farmers are hayseeds. The fact of the matter is they have to be nutritionists, agronomists, engineers, mechanics and tireless workers well after the clock clicks 5. Did I forget the Lawyers and Govenment Leeches as well as the lack of proper health coverage altho the feds will go after you if you don't provide W. Comp?
I'm a gentleman farmer and will be heading down to Branson for a couple days then see how the slaves are managing my wheat in mississippi. Heh. J/K.
We pay everyone fairly, have insurance and workman's comp for them. It's been three rough years so I can identify with the song dating back to 83.
I've got to go down there and deal with the tinhead lawyers about my LLC on friday.
That song hit me Spyder, it nails it.

I can relate with holding down another job, while farming. I work for UPS part-time as well. Tried to get away from farming, but I guess it just runs too thick in the blood.

Good news, Arkansas Bronco. They're putting a roof on Arkansas!
now that is funny. Missed it the first time. Once they put the roof up, a tornado will blow it down. They need to use non metal. Seems siding attracts tornados too.

Laminated siding means it's double or triple layered and good to 110 mph. And will last for at least 30 years...more likely 50 or more. That's the warranty. BTW, I'm getting it all done for 4200 including the garage. That includes tear off, the tar paper, gutters, mateiral, disposal and instalation. Yeah I'm a real moron.
Branson is on the way and free. I just have to listen to some loser time share salesman for three days free. It's no big deal.

Yes you missed it. I can't leave till the roof over Arkansas is installed. Of course, since I can't leave till the roof in Iowa is done, I guess the roof over Arkansas has to wait. STFU.

just pointing out Farmers are up against the wall , more so then truckers , we can add little charges here and there to help ease the cost of fuel , kinda hard for farmers , they do get dyed fuel a.k.a. off road use , but that isnt enough of a break to cover the operating cost .......

I wouldnt doubt that , my goal was Family farms in the midwest , on down to the panhandle , I should have been more clear on that ....... Oklahoma farmers are hurting bad ......But farming is like everything else , you can put yourself in hock buying state of the art brand new equipment ........I could be driving a 2007 pete , but I would also be making 2007 Payments , I make just as much money with my 91 pete without the payments ;D
