On the anniversary of Barbaro's breakdown, another horse appears destined for the glue factory. I knew he broke instantly. Doctor said "Grave injury". I literally yelped out loud. Jockey was tumbled but appears OK.
I'm not a horse lover but it breaks my heart when a horse breaks racing. This was a preliminary race but still upset me. On a tear threshold I'm about a 2.
I'm sure Slappy is out feeding some Casino with trifectas right now. I was actually pretty good with the ponys. The Byers number combined with whether they had moved up or down in grade ect.
I can usually pick a horse by just the way he looks in the walk thru. Add the Beyers number and grade of race.
Casinos don't even like horse racing or sports books. You can watch a hole game of BB, Football, Ponies, ect. They would much rather have your hanking the wank of a one armed bandit like a robot. The less labor the more they like it.
Been a decade since I was in Vegas, but the data room at Ceasar's was huge. Sometimes too much data is just that.
