Day 3 Notes: Rookies Get Adjusted.

Another fine piece of reporting by Mason! I thought it was interesting to hear that Ryan Harris worked out exclusively at left tackle. He's really versatile, but I like the fact that we're giving him a chance to prove that he can be our future at left tackle. On a side note, just seeing that picture of our four draftees makes me smile. All line, all the time baby. :beer:

Marcus Thomas sure looks the part. Moss looks kinda skinny And Crowder looks just right. (recalls Hummer commercial). Remember Goldielocks?

While the draft wasn't the blockbuster of 06, quality over quanity this year. Visually, Marcus Thomas is quite imposing. Obviously, if the didn't covet him, they wouldn't of given up 3 picks including a their third rounder next year.

I think we did enough work in FA to compensate for a thin draft. Draft day didn't fall exactly as we had hoped, but it is what it is. Moss should be able to put on a few pounds hopefully. Not easy with rookiie jitters and workouts, but we can hope.

I'm happy with Harris too. Lepsis had an ACL and didn't he have microfracture too? A good passblocking LT is cruical to protect the Golden Boy. He can be taught our dir...err...scheme for the run.

We had a surprisingly good FA period and get some important players back. Our roster is pretty damn thick IMO, except for Sam.

It's gonna be a dogfight for spots on the DL.
