OBX=Outer Banks. It's the thin strip of land that's the coast of North Carolina.

I'll spend some time in Boston, The Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina, Western South Carolina, San Jose California, and I'll get in on several local mountainbiking daytrips to the Ozarks, Southern Oklahoma, Glenrose TX, San Antonio TX.

It's going to be a great summer.

Vacation?? Did someone say VACATION??

Well, the big vacation will be a 7 day western caribbean cruise aboard the magnificent Carnival Legend!! We will be visiting Grand Cayman, Belize, Cozumel and Costa Maya!! I'll have the opportunity to get on my first jet ski (if I don't hit the lake over Memorial weekend) and parasailing in Costa Maya!

I'm so excited.... 73 days!!! :sunshine:

I'll have many sporadic weekend trips in there as well. Who knows where I'll end up on the many road trips that are possible this summer! ;)

Ohhhh, and I think I'm heading to San Fran for the weekend in June, too! ;D

I am not going on vacation, per say, but my job is taking me down to Bolivia in July.

I am heading out to my Father-in-laws house on a lake in Minnesota for a week in August. Nothing but boating, fishing, drinking (on dry land), and drinking, and water skiing, and drinking, and bon fires, and drinking. Did I mention drinking. Just kidding, but I might partake in a few adult beverages. That is one of my favorite places in the world though I love the water.

One week from today. !Booya! Short trip to Cocodrie, LA ( you won't find it on a map) for a couple of days of fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout. Maybe off shore for snapper, ling, grouper and amberjack, if the season is open and weather permits going that far out. This is a boys-out weekend! My wife and I will be on other trips this summer to who knows where yet.

PS She is as glad I'm going as I am. Everyone needs a little time away.

I've got a bachelor party to go to in Montreal in mid-July for 3 days. I plan to still be hungover for the Hall of Fame Game.

I already had my 8 day cruise......your gonna have the time of your life.

The rest of my summer will be fishing the local lake(if the damn boat stops acting up) and the rivers. Later hunting oh and those damn honey doos.

Oh and dont forget the Denver Poker tour as much as possible.

Did you ever go to the Virginia outer banks? Looks like they should be part of Maryland. Going over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge was part of the experience.

Anyway, also the way to get to Chincoteague Island which was a great place. It's been years since I've gone there but it was a favorite spot when I lived in VA.

My front yard. The sprinkler system needs repaired.

Then, a return to the back yard. I have a window, or some siding, or some stupid crap that's leaking water into my home that needs attention.

Then, of course, repeat trips from the front yard to the back to mow the grass once a week. All expenses paid.

Did I ever tell you home ownership sucks?

Ahh yes the horses....I can't think of one time I was ever on the DelMarVa. I basically have lived in Portsmouth/Cheaspeake/Virginia Beach/Norfolk, Richmond, Fork Union, Oakton/Vienna, Blacksburg..but I just never ever made it over there. Come to think of it...I can't remember ever having been in the CBB tunnel either.

This summer is all about visiting family.

Miami/Ft.Lauderdale at the end of the month (in laws)

Denver sometime in Aug or early Sept. (my fam)

Maybe a camping trip in between. Pretty mellow, low cost vacation year.
