San Francisco: A league source tells us that WR Ashley Lelie, a new free agent, is already injured, and that players are questioning his toughness. . . .
He's starting to drop off the radar. Obviously, Atlanta had no use for the sissy, simply releasing him back into the recycle bin. At least WE got something for him.
This is just the infamous PFT, but he's right more than people give him credit for.
I'm sorry, Ashlie, but frankly Scarlet, I don't give a damn. I hope you saw Jay's rocket launcher to Walker on SportsCenter. If he's injured, he might not even make the team.

Pretty big deal for someone who I don't recall missing any time in Denver with injuries.

From Peter King today:
8. I think the 49ers will end up disappointed in Darrell Jackson, and I'm sure they'll end up disappointed in Ashley Lelie. Jackson misses too much practice time, and Lelie won't be tough enough for coach Mike Nolan.

I don't know about taking him back, but he could certainly make some amazing catches...

He did make some good catches as a Bronco. I just didnt like how he and the claw seemed to head to the sidelines after each catch or non-catch like they were too tired for another play. You were lucky to pull Rod Smith out of a series of plays.
