My brother was in the navy, and to hear him describe some of the stuff they did to survive the winter nights on the mountain in Okinawa would make this picture look downright macho. More than that, maybe my college experience was out of the norm, but this kind of picture would have just been for fun (and honestly with some intention at making homophobes squirm). No, I never kissed a man, slept with a man, or in any other way experimented homosexually in college, but this kind of picture would still not have been all that out of the ordinary.
