BTW, congrats on the weight loss BMF. I myself have dropped 20 pounds and can run 3 miles without a break...at about a 10 minute mile pace.

You can definately tell a difference in your whole health when you drop pounds.

We burned her jersey soon after this game.

Why? I still have my good ole #14..... errr .14 jersey! I also have kept #85, #77, #87, #7, #27, and have recently added a #6, an auto #7, and a #80 that I ordered as a 50 but it arrived as a size 54. That 54 is big enough that I can put a Jacket on underneat it and it fits over comfortably. But I digress.

No reason to burn the old broncos jerseys. Where them out on Saturday afternoons when you paint the house or play in the sandlot!

I wish I had pictures of it, but we played a lot of football last winter in Ama. The temp was down around 10 degrees. The ground completely frozen, which was nice b/c your feet stayed dry for the most part. Each blade of grass covered in ice. It looked like bulbs. Atleast 1/2" of ice on everything! The only picture I took was of the tree that fell on my car. Luckily the ice that caused the tree to fall also protected my car pretty well. I ended up with a broken side view mirror and a small crack in my windshield... that is still running and getting bigger.

It's not just the bird. I've shot parties, and I get sick of people contantly throwing up some sign when I take the photo. Being out here on the west coast I get a ton of poeple throwing up the "W". It's annoying, and it screws up my photo.

Oh I highly recommend it...I went not knowing really what to expect and since they usually do not come around my area at all, it was a must see. They traded instruments often, did almost all of what you'd expect (No "From A Motel 6' though) and even took requests from the crowd. Ira is one mean guitarist....he goes absolutely nuts on the thing more often than not.

Very cool and accomidating people as well....especially Georgia, who seemed absolutely floored that someone would travel to see them like we did.

I'm seeing them again if they're anywhere within a four hour radius from where I live, no question about it.

Okay I botched the pic ID two posts above. That was not really Lake Washington, that's the much smaller Lake Union - to the right of the red star, that star being where the picture was taken. From.

Lake Washington is obviously much, M U C H larger, as you can see to the right.

Lake Washington and Lake Union are 20 feet higher than sea level, so the red line is a set of
canals called the Ballard Locks. Claviculasolominus used to live there. Meanest process server

Judging from your hairstyle and the car on your left it easily could be 1970 :)
LOL, The car isn't mine thank goodness, but the hair and glasses are. Damn those specs were large. The hair well, I've been combing it that way since I was 8, it's kinda wavy with a cowlick in the front so thats about all I can do with it besides cut it real short. Thats too funny.

Nice USC T-Shirt in the second picture, anthony. :)
Thanks but it's misleading, it's got a funny story though. The SC on the shirt is my alma matter The University of Southern Colorado. I was gonna play baseball at either Otero Junior College or USC. I stayed in La Junta, (OJC) cause my girl at the time was still in HS there. The coach didn't offer any scholarships to the locals and we quickly found out he only wanted us around for practice against his varsity team full of Californians and New Mexico kids. I left the school after the first semester, broke up with the girl and had some adventures.

When I settled down a few years later I went back to school at SC in Pueblo. The coach there remembered me and when I worked in the SID's office I wrote the media guide for the Men's team and Girls Softball, I was a Mass Comm major and he would only allow me to do interviews with him since the rest of the staff weren't too friendly with him. So every year he put on a youth clinic/summer camp and he asked me to help out. So thats where the T-shirt comes from.

Lots of folks mistake it for Southern Cal, when they ask me where I went to school and I just blurt out USC. They have since changed the name of the school to Colorado State University at Pueblo, the folks in Ft. Collins were not happy. We had a different nickname for USC. On our financial aid sheet it asked you to put a list of schools you were applying for aid. #1 on my list was...Ohio State, but I knew that wasn't gonna happen, USC was #2 cause it was the University of Second Choice.

LOL, Those parades were nuts, to this day I still haven't been involved with that large of a crowd outside a sports stadium. The first parade I went right to the park, it was shoulder to shoulder the whole time, you couldn't even move around to rest your feet, it was Feb and one side of my face was sunburned from standing in place so long. The second victory I watched the parade. I was also at the Avalanche parade, it was awesome as well, the players were drinking beer on top of the firetrucks some of the players weren't 21 yet either, they let you get so close to the truck you could slap hands with players.

Also if you own the Sports Illustrated John Elway tribute issue they put out when he retired in the section where they are talking about the Jets game there is a pic of a banner that says Thanks John, I'm under and behind the banner to the left. Me and my buddy were trying to watch John do the victory lap with the AFC trophy and this a$$hole put this banner right over my face!! I didn't know what it said, we were trying to pull it down when SI took the picture. If you look at my photo of the game you can see some of the same people in their pic.

ps. The kid in the front was Joe, when we played super heroes he always wanted to be Zorro or Darth Vader:~ohyah!:

complete tool...the best way to describe him would to put Principal Skinner's personality into Mr. Burns body. That would be him to a T.

I haven't lived in Swink since I graduated HS. I just keep it on the location to give the home town some love. It's located in southern Colorado about 70 miles southeast of Pueblo, smack dab between Rocky Ford (watermelon capital of the world!) and La Junta birthplace of Tippy Martinez. 300 kids K-12 all in the same building, like Little House on the Prairie only bigger. My graduating class had 30 in it and most of them were all in the 1st grade picture.

I am currently living in Colorado Springs.

Okay I botched the pic ID two posts above. That was not really Lake Washington, that's the much smaller Lake Union - to the right of the red star, that star being where the picture was taken. From.

Lake Washington is obviously much, M U C H larger, as you can see to the right.

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/5990/oopsie8.jpg

Lake Washington and Lake Union are 20 feet higher than sea level, so the red line is a set of
canals called the Ballard Locks. Claviculasolominus used to live there. Meanest process server
I ever hired, he wuz.

The green dots are the University of Washington. Shouldda made em purple I guess.

One of the craziest things too - was that ballard was sort of OUTSIDE the city so you had to either cross the locks by foot to get to the other side, or go across the bridge using the bus/car/etc.

I miss it out there and do plan on going back.....

Buff -

This is the hotel i stayed at before i left. They have a courtesy service that if anyone asks for you - they tell them you aren't there. ;)

Here's some pics from last year's college football season. I am a member of a Ohio St. club here in the Springs called the Pike's Peak Buckeyes. We take over a Buffalo Wild Wings on North Academy every Sat. (The first BW3's was on the campus of OSU.) We have a site www.pikespeakbuckeyes.org It's real fun now that I have found some like minded individuals to share my entire Sat with (the last three years). I'm usually the last guy to leave since I watch as many games as they have on the Dish. I dressed up like Woody for the Michigan game.

When we were in North Carolina a few weeks ago, my son bought a bunch of those candy cigarettes they used to sell all over the place, years and years ago. Well, it apparently isn't taboo in North Carolina, where they still encourage kids to smoke as early as possible. This picture is of my daughter, Lucy, and my wife's aunt (one of the funniest women I know), enjoying a smoke.
