I've gotta do more veggies like that.
I'm still very attached to these smoothies.
1-2 cups of lowfat milk
2 big tbsps of plain yogurt (w/ active cultures)
2 tbsp ground flaxseed *
1 tbsp oat bran *
1 tbsp wheat germ *
1 scoop soy protein powder (w/ no sugar. Some have creatine and vitamins too)
1 banana (sometimes)
2 packets Sweet'n'Low
1-2 cup frozen fruit - blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or cherries
The frozen fruit makes them cold ... if you use fresh, you'll need a couple ice cubes. The bananas can be constipating (or so I read), and they also make them too thick sometimes.
* Cheaper in the baking aisle than the cereal aisle - 'Stone-Buhr' or 'Bob's Red Mill' brands are $2-4 a pouch - lasts over a month.
Sassy
07-15-2007, 11:39 PM

My friend that lives there bought me the sample pack as a gift...they are all awesome and can be used with anything! There is a garlic herb one, a garlic one, a spicy one and just the macademia nut. Try them out! They have a more "buttery" flavor than regular olive oil.

Are you getting any of the snow? It looks like Loveland and A-basin are in for 10(+-) inches!

Wow 10 inch...Nice!
You know it's about 40 up here. Some snow on the higher peaks but that is about it. We've only had one dusting so far. The snow doesn't usually stack up until Oct 31st.
Early hunting report is the Elk are being dropped like flies north of here. Good chance I'll bring you a nice tenderloin steak for your barby Nut if I have any luck next week!

Yeah...but it's not "real" cheesecake! LOL!
I need to watch my sugar intake.
The cappuccino one is the REAL thing! :giggle:
Love the smiley!
I'd dissolve some brown sugar in a little butter or just water and some vanilla extract and drizzle it on top ;D A very tasty caramel sauce. You can add a little heavy cream too :)
Going to have a salad w/thousand island dressing for dinner. Going light tonight.
