Four years ago today, the stalwart hero, George W. Bush, strapped on his flight suit for the photo op that outdid all presidential photo ops that came before, landed on the deck of an aircraft carrier, and told the nation, "Mission Accomplished!" in Iraq.
Thoughts?

He should do it again. Maybe the secon time will be a "charm", or maybe the "real" man in the aircraft can eject his ass over shark infested waters. Not that sharks will eat "spoiled meat", but one can always hope!;D

We should have some pics to remind us of the glorious moment.

More like Alfred E. Neuman on the cover of MAD magazine.

He was right, the war was over. What you guys should be complaining about is staying as policemen.

Actually he used the policeman reasoning, among others, to invade iraq. And according to your definition of war, it's far from over.

It ain't over, and any attempt to say otherwise is booooool****, as was the reasoning for the war.
Nevertheless, there are signs that the sunni insurgency is splitting. It's interests and aims are much different from al queda's, and actually closer to the all-ah-mucky govts. However, staying bushii's course is obviously not working, but still, with pressure, it's possible the govt and the former baath can compromise to save their people.
