good pick for them and he can rest since they have jordan and rhodes.

Oakland HAS a defense so all these offensive improvements bode for real competition in the future.

Oakland has a very good defense. Their Oline has some holes. I think Porter will come back and play well this year. Russell will start by week 8. Jordan, Rhodes, and Bush is a very good trio at RB. I'll bet they try to move Jordan.

Yep, Bush running behind Cooper Carlisle is pretty scary. Not to mention Robert Gallery.

Thank God. Now maybe we can shut up about the Broncos taking a RB.

That's the first pick they've made that I'm even a little worried about. Still no O-line, so all these guys won't matter with no protection.

Here's a video of Oakland's Russell & KC's Bowe. Both of 'em are dang good players that you'll see twice a year each:

Russell is a fat immobile QB with a big arm. He's horribly slow and has man tits.

Bowe doesn't have a QB either.

How could all those scouts & coaches & pundits & players all be so wrong? Check out the video & see why they're not....

I'll be surprised if Michael Bush ever becomes anything that great.

Happens all the time. Ryan Leaf is a good example of mistaken talent grading. The Risk/Reward of the #1 pick is huge.

IF he is a bust, and get $30m guaranteed, it hurts the franchise for years. IF he is just average, nothing special and gets $30m guaranteed, he does more harm than good for the franchise simply because of the money.

Basically, he has to be very, very, very good to justify the expense. Anything less than playoff WINS and championships is unacceptable.

I'll tell you right now. 1. Because scouts and pundits are wrong all the time. 2. Because all three QB's last year were better than him.

1. Jay Cutler played the same conference but didn't have two first round receivers to throw to, a horrible defense and no offensive line and got offensive player of the year. Bowe never did.

2. Matt Leinert was a Heisman winner, won two championships and played in three. He's also played well against great teams, unlike Russell who beat up on crappy teams and never did anything against good competition.

3. Vince Young is more athletically gifted than Russell. He also didn't show up to the combine overweight. He was a finalist for the Heisman and single-handedly won the national championship against a very good USC team.

Russell has a higher ceiling but he has high bust potential as well. The fact that he's a fat ass tells me he doesn't have the work ethic to succeed in the NFL. Behind your sieve o-line, which is yet to be addressed in the draft, I'm going to bet that he gets discouraged early on and ends up busting in two years.

Yea damnit. I think the faid did well to take Bush there. He's a guy that would do well in our system with his one cut and go running style.

As far as Russell goes I think he's either going to boon or bust. I don't think there's any in between with him.

Son of a bitch greasy Al....my favorite player in the draft.

God, I hate to see him go to Oakland. He'll be a real problem for us when he gets to 100%.

And from what I understand the faiders on working on a blocking scheme similar to ours which will fit Bushs' style.

All these "improvements" will just make beating them sweeter.

oakland just landed the best back available in this draft. he may sit out a year from his leg injury but in 3 years he will be the best back from this draft.
Now we have 2 face Tomlinson, Johnson, and Bush Denver had better start stocking up on DL because it is going to be a bi+ch stopping that 6 games a year.

Let us not forget that we have a proven 1500 yd back in our backfield now. I think we'll see so much improvement over tatum and mike bell. People are going to be legitimately fearing the afc west for years to come. Probably going to be the most dominant division in the league. And the competition looks to being back to the level it was in the 80s where we would often split with LA, not so much San Diego, Seattle and KC.
