4. The Mile High Brownie defensive line: Remember how Mike Shanahan put together two years of playoff runs by accumulating the greatest collection of former Browns defensive linemen? You remember the group: Gerard Warren, Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban, Amon Gordon, Alvin McKinley, Kenard Lang and Michael Myers. Shanahan continues to serve notice that Cleveland may rock, but former Cleveland linemen could be out in the cold. The Broncos drafted two defensive ends: Jarvis Moss and Tim Crowder. Brown and Myers are gone. Lang should stay, but Ekuban will have to fight for his job. McKinley was just signed, so he's in, and Warren is under a long-term contract. However, if the Panthers trade Kris Jenkins, don't be surprised if they move on Warren.

LOL. In addition to not drafting a DT, we're going to trade the only decent player we have remaining at DT.

I read that last night and I took it as don't be suprised if Denver moves on getting rid of Warren and not Carolina wanting him. I might be wrong but he talks about since Denver got Moss and Crowder that it's time to get rid of the Browncos. He mentions that Brown and Myers are gone, Ekuban will fight for his job and McKinley was just signed so he stays but Warren could be the one to go if they got Jenkins. That's how I took it but it might've took what Clayton was saying wrong.

One problem with that scenario. Both picks are not DT's. Not to mention eating the SB one year into his deal. Ain't going to happen. ESPN is a collection of idiots.

We give away a DT to pick up a DT? When we only have one solid guy for the rotation?

Not bloody likely.

Thats not what he means. He means if the Broncos got Jenkins in a trade, then Warren might go, which is still unlikely.
