Chiefs | J. Allen suspended four games
Fri, 27 Apr 2007 11:19:06 -0700
Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs DE Jared Allen will be suspended for the first four games of the 2007 season for a violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. "I'm sorry my actions of last year will affect my teammates, coaches and fans," Allen said. "I have definitely learned from my mistakes and am glad to finally put this entire thing behind me once and for all. I will be with the Chiefs this year and will do everything I can to help bring a championship back to the great fans of KC."

With the crackdown on off-field behavior, there was talk of it being 6-8 games. They dodged a bullet there.

They should have suspended that thug for the entire season. Hopefully next DUI he gets, the league will put him out of football for good.

How can he bring something back to fans that weren't even there the time they did win a championship? Maybe he should become a stand up comic.

You can't "put it all behind me" until you serve the time.
Looks like Herm is angling for the #1 pick in 2008. Darren McFadden maybe?

Don't forget that stunning free agent long snapper acquisition. KC put the league on notice with that one.

Brilliant word Bob "Dungver." Coming from a mullet head like you we take it that you can't spell Denver. The Dung just keeps coming out of your mouth.

You know I was thinking we shouldn't really rip Allen too much. I mean with fans like Boob and his Mom I would drink my ass of too.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team. I really feel for all those Chef fans. Too bad we don't play them during the first 4 weeks of the season this year. It would be nice not to have to worry about Allen, while Jay is still learning the ropes in his first foray into camarohead.

Let's see. Chiefs plan to start a nobody at QB, trying to trade LJ because they don't want to pay him, have junk at WR, have crap at OL, signed either nobodies at LB or old LB's that have Chief fans all giddy for some reason, and their best DL is an apparent idiot and got suspended. Yes, it's been a great offseason for the Chiefs
