I've been so hyped about the draft for the past month, talking about all the great college players and free agents that will make us great, I've forgot about the single player who WILL have the biggest impact for us. Jay Cutler. Let's not forget, this guy only played a handful of games last year. Has he had any camps so far, how's he doing? Is he picking up more of the playbook?

Jay reported to the facility a month early and worked on passing and footwork drills as well as tape review with the coaches. Shanny seemed to be really ebullient (sp) about Jay's work ethic when he was talking about him a few weeks ago.

Well at least he hasn't been photographed by paparazzi dating any porn stars or other bimbos...I like the fact he seems like a down to earth lunch pail kind of guy.

i know he is a big-time athlete, but i most respect the person he is aside from football. Obviously I don't know him personally, but humility is the number one quality i look for in a person and he just seems so down to earth, family-orientated, work hard, take nothing for granted kind of guy.

I'm also excited to see who will be #2? - should be a really fun camp!!! Alexander v. Graham, Bell v. Henry, Bly and Foxy, Walker and Marshall, new LB schemes, hopefully 2 new Dline rookies, Elvis' progress - there's some fun stuff here!!!

Peyton Manning had Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison his rookie year and went 3-13.

I don't know if Cutler will ever be Manning, but I think he has a great start and plenty of talent to be that kind of player. I don't look for rookie QB's to take it all on their shoulders the first year, but I do look for moments of greatness their first year.

Remember a few scenes. Cutler drops back, play action and rolls left, quickly switches his shoulders and drives a beautiful 65 yard pass directly into the double covered hands of Javon Walker.

He showed his patience and winning spirit (with a little help from Mike Bell) to beat an offensively powered Bengals team. How about that bullet into the hands of Scheffler at the goal line (who was well defended).

He made average receivers like David Kircus look good.

He got the crap beat out of him in SF when the team was folding around him and he still went out for more. Getting us constantly in the positiion to win the game.

The third quarter against a very good San Diego team was awesome. He benefitted from great ST play, but capitalized against a very good defense.

Cutler will be special, this year will shoot him up there.

It will make the Cutler / Manning duel very interesting this year.

And with the residuals from the invention of the telephone, Denver will have no problem paying Willis's signing bonus!

Last time I saw him was in a Strip-Club during the NBA All-star weekend in Vegas.

Unfortunately (for me, anyway) he wasn’t throwing $50 bills out of a garbage bag.

Alexander v. Graham

There's no competition here. Graham is going to be the #1 TE in 2007
