Family donates organ for research on concussions

The brain of Damien Nash, the reserve running back who died early this year from an unknown cause, was donated last month to a leading expert in forensic pathology as part of an extensive effort to catalog the degenerative effects that repeated blows to the head have on professional football players................

Yes, but it is great his family is doing this. I think most everyone should be an organ donor. They probably won't be able to use my liver, but I hope they can use some of the other parts.

Cool. I'm a donor. People can take all my crap if I go vegetable and if I'm dead, they can study my no visible organs for science - which is most.

I'm a donor also. I figure.. I'm dead! I don't need the stuff. Anything they can take to help save someone's life, go for it. If it's useable, that is, lol. I think it's great what Damien Nash's family did.
