Better yet the best Norweigian player ever was:

"Honest" John Anderson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Anderson_(baseball_player)), who played at the turn of the century, was a better player. He was a star for a few years and Jorgens was a part time player for the Yankees. Only a handful of MLB players have hailed from Norway, so we're talking pretty slim pickings here.

I know I googled Norweigian and his was the only major hit. I hit up Germans and there were quite a few.

The population of the Dominican Republic (http://www.historycentral.com/nationbynation/DominicanRep./Population.html) is just over 9 million people, but they've sent 443 players to the Majors (http://www.baseball-reference.com/bio/D-R-_born.shtml).

Canuck as in NHL team who employed the piece of **** Bertuzi or Canadian in general. Canada has great representation in the MLB. In fact, the Rockies have Jeff Francis who hails from our friends to the North.

Off the top of my head, I would say Larry Walker (http://www.baseball-reference.com/w/walkela01.shtml).
Here's a rather comprehensive list of 210 players born in Canada (http://www.baseball-reference.com/bio/CAN_born.shtml).

Well, I know that right now, we have Eric Gagne, Jason Bay and Justin Morneau, who are all pretty damn good. I was just asking about all-time.

No doubt. It seems like most of the best Italian players have been catchers:
Yogi Berra
Roy Campanella (Italian father)
Mike Piazza
Ernie Lombardi
Mike Scioscia
Joe Torre
Joe Garagiola.......;)

Kruk's Padres teammates always used to joke that he had a "credit card to Dominos Pizza".
