Chiefs | D. Hall trade update
Wed, 25 Apr 2007 09:19:11 -0700

Updating a previous item, Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams have swapped third-round picks in this year's NFL Draft as part of the trade which sent WR Dante' Hall to the Rams Wednesday, April 25.

So which is it? A fifth straight up or a swap of thirds or both.

Rascal

Chiefs trade Dante Hall to Rams
By ADAM TEICHER
The Kansas City Star
The Chiefs today traded kick return specialist Dante Hall to the St. Louis Rams for a fifth-round pick in the draft this weekend.

The teams also swapped picks in the third round. The Chiefs will move up two spots in the round.

Hall was one of the league’s most dangerous return specialists under former coach Dick Vermeil. He made the Pro Bowl in 2002 and 2003.

He became disgruntled under Vermeil’s replacement and asked to be traded or released. The Chiefs, desiring extra picks in the draft, tried to accommodate him.

Yeah. SoCal is a friend but we don't always see eye-to-eye. I think he over-values draft picks favoring a pick over a proven player which doesn't make any sense and defeats the whole purpose of the draft: acquiring new players who can contribute. That said, the Chiefs got good return for a guy who's played scared since Lynch laid him out on Invesco years ago.

That said, it doesn't matter how many picks Carl has because most of them will bust. The Chiefs will go through another ten year period where they will constantly look for a QB but can't get one and fumble along as a 7-9 win team.

Actually it's about 50/50, with the majority wanting to keep LJ. Sorry to disappoint.

Jesus Christ. How many maners are going to make themselves look like fools based on this one post? This is like 20 people now.

For the last time, I said "ABOUT 50/50."

Duh...Everyone knows soap burns.

BTW I have been told that Jesus loves me...

Does Jesus watch me showering? That would be embarrasing to explain. Here you are at Judgement day & you have tell why you spent about the vast majority of 50/50% of my time showering pleasuring myself.

Of course a majority of the time is more like 80/20 spanking it but it appears that Chef fans equate a Majority to "about" 50/50. Must always post so lowest common denominator can understand.

Another question. Was the cheif's record last year ABOUT 50/50?

What was their winning % last year in Cheef fans eyes?

He became disgruntled under Vermeil’s replacement and asked to be traded or released.

So why did Dante become disgruntled? I'm thinking it might be because Herm didn't give him those nice, slow, satisfying, full body man hugs like Dick did.

You might want to check your stats more thoroughly before you speak. Page had three INTs in the regular season. He also had one against the Colts in the playoffs. That actually adds up to four.

I meant Page. It is pretty clear that I made a typo by the post I responded to. I mean really, way to catch that I accidently typed Pollard when I meant to type Page. That really doesn't change the fact that Page had four INTs last season:

WOOOoooHOOoooooooo.....!

The X factor single handedly kept the chiefies in many games.

As broncos fans know (considering we've been at the bottom of the field position game for a long time now) just how much field position can stifle an offenses production....then it finally wears down even the best D's no matter how well they're playing.

And with their lack of WR's already.... without the X they had better not only get ONE good WR but they're going to need TWO wr's to make up for this.

I'd like to see the chiefs forced to go 90 yrds. consistently on drives like we've had to.... And we soon will....LMAO

Chiefies have been spoiled with good Field position so long that they're going to get a big shocker when all those 'freebie' TD's and short drives are no longer....

This is great news (I don't care what draft pick they get for it).... hehe
