Hey all. I know we have three different threads about it, but I wanted to see where everyone stood.

Poll coming.

Stay put.

It's an excellent draft for a Bronco need; DE...someone good will fall, and the team will still have three picks this first day.

Won't happen, but my hope is the team will hold at 21.

I still think moving down is best move in this draft.

Good point Wab. My hope is that the Broncs scouting staff has targeted 2 or 3 guys. If their guy is there, they move up and get him. If not they can stay put and get value at #21.

AND if none of the guys on their board are available at #21 I would not be upset if they did trade back. I can see any one of those scenarios happen.

But if their guy does slip a bit I will be stoked if they jump up and nab him.

If there is a player that the Broncos front office and coaching staff think will make an immediate impact and fill a needed void, I am all for getting that player whatever the cost is.

1 impact player is worth more that 5 bench/situational players.

wabbit, i really wish i could agree with you but i just cant do it...i know there is the possibility of a branch or anderson falling but i wouldnt bank on it, i would much rather be decisive and either go up and get the player you want(willis, anderson, branch) or trade back to the end of the first targeting a justin harrell type and get another pick or two out of the deal...but who the hell am i...

Where's the SoCal option?

"Trade every player on our roster for every pick possible every year";)

This poll is a farce without the trade sideways option.

Slap, you're absolutely right. My apologies!

Move up if it's for a DL, I'm not on the Willis bandwagon

I think we will need to trade up to get a good DT or DE, because this year I think there will be a run on the D-Linemen.

OK, the poll does need to be changed to have two trade up options.
1) Is the proposed trade first second and third round picks to move into the top 10. (ALA - trade with Detroit for #2)

2) Is the more reasonable, trade our first and second to move up into spots 12-15. That could have an effect on the poll.

If we can land Jenkins with 3a, I'm ok with giving rd 1 and rd 2 for Anderson. An impact DT and an impact DE fills our 2 biggest needs. Find a LB in round 3. Find a stud safety next year, hopefully some of our young guys will step it up this year (Cox, Foxworth, Abdullah).

I want the Broncos to trade up and get either Jamaal or Carriker. I'm sick and tired of having no pass rush and I don't want to sit in my frigging living room watching opposing QBs have the time to tie their frigging shoes. I want to see some ****ing sacks!!!!

I think they stay where they are until the chips start to fall. If there is an early run on LBs or CBs Anderson or another target could fall to them.

Im still on the wagon that says if nobody falls early move down take Harris and trade for Jenkins.

The poll can't be altered after it's posted. But I see what you're saying.

I agree with Hotrod and Big guy. 21 is a tough place to be in this draft because of the value. I think Denver is going to be in position to make a move into the 12-18 range if a player of value to them drops. I really think they will stay pat unless a certain target is available at that pick they can trade. They screwed up letting Tommie Harris go one pick before DJ Williams a few years back and have not made that mistake since.

Once they missed out they should of went Steven Jackson especially after losing portis and they could of got the best RB in the draft and passed for an overrated LB position.

I'm in the either trade up for Anderson or Okoye, maybe Branch, but I would rather trade back a few spots grab Harrel. If no trade back available grab Harrel at 21.

Trade picks like a psychopath to get Laron Landry. I may be the only guy out here but there's plenty of room.

Stay put. There are a number of pretty good players that can be found with the Broncos' picks. It is a wet dream to think that the Broncos are going to get up high enough to get Johnson, Willis or whomever at that level. So, plan where you are and maybe some other nutsy team manager gets anxious and gives the farm away to Denver.

There's good talent on the Broncos now. A couple of more players and this team can compete for the SB within two years....If they had Johnson, it would take 24 months......

My longshot pick is that if Okoye slips past the Falcons, (Petrino was his former coach at Lousiville) the Broncos will move up for him. He fills a position of need, there has been plenty of smokescreen about Bates' d needing a big fatty for the DT position which Okoye is not, and there has been no word about the Broncos being interested in him. A perfect Bronco pick that no one saw coming.

I'd be happy if we traded our first and second (BUT NO MORE THIS YEAR) to move up say into the top 12-15 and get a guy like Carricker or Willis or Anderson or maybe Ginn, or a couple of others; BUT IMO NO PLAYER, not even Johnson or Adams is worth our entire first day's draft picks!! Maybe a first and second, but NO MORE. That would still leave us 2 third rounders on day one to find some good players and maybe some sleepers who'll become stars!
