Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger admits he did not always see eye to eye with former head coach Bill Cowher. "Our relationship wasn't great because he was here before I got here and I was just a young kid," Roethlisberger said. "Coach Tomlin and I are rookies together in a sense, so I think we will have a better relationship,'' Roethlisberger added.

Translation: Bill yelled at me for being a punk and thinking I was a super star primadona. Coach Tomlin better let me do what I want in this town or he'll be gone also.

If people only knew the B.S. Roth has done over the past few years.

Well, Cowher certainly got payback. He left Roethlisberger in some games last year when there was absolutely no reason for him to be out there.

Tomlin already has his hands full with Alan Faneca's bruised vagina.

Man. This bit of information makes me even more happy that we have Cutler. Roth may have been servicable enough to win one super bowl, but his lack of maturity will sink them.

Meanwhile, Cutler is low-key, stays out of trouble, and works hard every day. If Cutler plays up to his talent level, the Broncos will be happy for may years to come.

Nope it's defamation of character :wiggle:

He's broken many team rules and had to be given a stern talking to about his partying way's. Heinz had to have a little man to young punk talk with him back in 05.

After the city fell in love woth him he was given a "You can't do nothing wrong" card.

He was given an honorary police badge from city PD. He f'd around with a few people and attemped to pull them over. The fan's got a chuckle out of it, but some (who didn't have a clue who he was) didn't. He and Chower had a few words about it,back in 2005.

Drinking is a big pass time for Ben, but that's typical for a 20 something yearold and the women also. Just after the Super Bowl it became clear he was walking a tightrope. He fell off with the bike wreck. Which was his own fault and it was covered up...yadayada.

He can be a nice guy, great with the fans....mostly the ladies. "The Ladies Love BIG Ben" was a shirt he had made. It's funny, but it's also trouble at times. He's had some run in's with some women (in the past) and luckly they haven't pressed the issue.

Heinz once told him "Your going to end up like Joe Nameth" Ha!

I also hear he is ride'n rockets again...............

From what I've read, he's pretty underpaid, which as we all know, is a Steelers hallmark.

I have never heard that the bike wreck was his fault. My understanding was it was a rather confusing intersection and she may of not seen him.

Also the assertion he's riding "rockets" again is another assertion. I doubt he takes anything out but his cruiser in a mellow envornment, or indeed, he's stupid.

Give me Cutler tucked into his Lexus SUV. It's not hard to see that Cowher and Ben might butt heads.

I heard he's pissy because his boy Grimm didn't get the job.

Ben was probably annoyed that he had to take a shower everytime Cowher would say his name (Bang!).

Alan isn't alone in his dspleasure of the coaching changes. Other players still aren't happy with what went down.

Alan also has the contract issue that he wants settled before camp.

While it's just voluntary mini-camp, many Steelers have stayed away from Steelers HQ this weekend.

Tomlin is going to have to win over many players, but even more impotant are Tomlins assistant coaches. They have new running back, O-line, wideout, the made the old WR coach the new O-corrd.

The defensive staff is the same, it's just Tomlin plans on inserting more 4-3 sets. He wants to phase out the steeler stand by of 3-4.

Some people even think they may try to trade Alan to AZ. I doubt it, but ownership/FO isn't going to let one person get in the way of the new coach.

Ask Joey Porter about that.

But they still have Heinz being the leader.

Alan pulled the same stuff when they were taking Maddox out. He said he wasn't happy playing with some dam rookie. Then that rookie led them to AFC Championship game and a superbowl victory.

I think he's a fantastic player, but I'm not going to ignore that he's acting like a big baby right now.

I can't imagine a guy that doesn't wear a brain bucket on his motorcycle has maturity issues.
