Carl is so stupid. He'll avoid doing it now because it will make him feel like he's a bad ass.

Good. They can take that 6th rounder and shove it up their ass.

Better to get a pick for him, then to just release him out right.

They won't release him. He'll compete for the job.

Not if he holds out becuase he really wants to be a dolphin, like it's reported he does.

Green even knows the chefs are asking waaaaaaayyyyyy tooooooo much for his old, washed up, scrambled egg brains body. He is better than any other QB on chefs roster though.

I actually NEED to answer that? It's clear that the Chiefs are kicking Green out.

I find it hilarious Carl is trying to be bad ass and get a 2nd round pick for Green. Heck, on your crapsplanet, they actually talked about getting a 3rd or 4th AND Chris Chambers, lol.
Face it, the Dolphins don't actually need Trent Green. Giving up a high round pick for him would be stupid. He is only going to be a starter for another couple seasons, especially behind a very average OL. I honestly don't know why they even want him.

Ok, I'll spell it out for you:
I've promoted, for several years now, on this board, that KC is King Carl. So, when I say "KC" its a George W. Bush "double whammy." It's the hell know as King Carl, and the hell known as Kansas City.

 TrINT just called Carl's bluff. By letting the Dullfins know that he only wants to play there, all they have to do now is wait until june and they can have him with no compensation. Unless of course the Chef's want a 7 million dollar disgruntled backup. That dis-organization is beginning to implode. I do feel sorry for Tony G. He just signed long term. He would be out of there too if he had a crystal ball. Way to go K(ing) C(arl).

Funny thing is everyone knows that the Fins are going to draft a QB, it not like they need Green. He is a caretaker until the young guy is ready.

Yes instead of paying the CARL PETERSON price for him. Face it fatass he would of been traded already if the queefs didn't overvalue him.

The Dolphins are in that same window that the Chiefs were in a couple years ago only the needs are reversed...KC needed a better defense before their offense aged and now Miami has an aging defense, where if they want to take advantage of them, they can't really count on a rookie QB and look at rebuilding IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see a conditional 3rd. in 08 and a 7th this year for Green based on performance. I just don't see where Kansas City has Miami over a barrel to hold out for a 2nd rounder.

No, these deals often don't take place until draft day. It was that way when we traded for Green.

If Miami gives a 3rd, they will be a laughing stock, and considering the earned that label with last yrs QB acquisition, a highly doubt they'll do it again. They'll be a 4th at best. Now as to their window, there is no such window, because that is not an overpowering D. They are still in the process of developing that team.

Dude how stupid are you really? Chiefs want a 2 dolphins say a 6. Can't agree so the reason they go down on draft day is because the team won't get anything if they don't move. Bottomline is Chefs are asking way too much for a 37 year old QB.

I agree. He's not worth a 2. The Chiefs would take a 4.

You saw how quickly they turned on Larry Johnson when it was reported that they wanted to trade him. Most posters on the Chiefs board got on board with that idea without too much hesitation.

What is Trent's fixation with Miami, anyway? I wasn't aware he was in such demand he could pick and choose where to go!
