I would have say "Neion" Deion "Primetime" Sanders :afro: :pimp:
He was an Offenseive threat but mostly a Shutdown CB

He was never an offensive threat. He was a special teams threat.

I don't think anybody comes close to Troy Brown in recent years. Just about everybody else, Deion and Champ included, have been nothing but gimmicks.

Mike Vrabel is hell on wheels down at the goalline.

Hey, if we're going to open the nominations up that drastically, there was a guy on my high school team who basically never left the field.

I'd agree with Slap...Troy Brown is really the only one this area to be a true two way player, the rest just do a few plays here and there.

Did your guy ever finish third in the Heisman ballot?

That's not a 2 way player.

That's not a 2 way player.

So you say Troy Brown even though he only played one year of CB. I will admit he played CB well for a WR but it was only one year.

he has to play on 2 different teams at one time (Defense and ST or Offense and ST or Offense and Defense)

Under that criteria, it's Tim Brown for the win

2 way is offense and defense in same year for majority of the plays on both sides. ST doesn't count or there would be a lot more options. Dieon is probably the best in modern era and Troy Brown is the only other player to do it for a lot of plays on both sides even though it was only one year.

Actually, a 2-way player is someone who plays both offense and defense.

Troy Brown still plays DB, although it's only in dime packages IIRC.

He only played one year on defense where he contributed. He might be considered the emergency DB but Rod Smith is the emergency QB too.

The best two way player in the mid 90's to early '00's...Peter Forsberg. Now it's Joe Sakic.

Roy Green from the 1980's Cardinals.

Within a few years was a full time WR and changed his number from 25 to 81, but I thin he had some decent DB numbers for two seasons and then became a Pro Bowl WR for 3 seasons.

I would have to say me. Playing 8 man football in western Kansas. I played the whole game, every game when I was a senior. offense (guard), defense (DE), and special teams.
