Just think this should have its own thread. The way Big Al handled him self after being shown the door is incredible. What a classy individual. I hope the best for Al's health and his career.

he deserves his own thread, but how many threads does he deserve?

...as many as we can think up.
Good luck Al. Don't push yourself into trying a comeback if your body is telling you not to. You have a long life with your family, and friends ahead of you.
BTW, will you sign my jersey. :)

Yeah, he left with unmatched class ... I said some things about him I regret now. What a first-class guy.

I didn't find a thread dedicated to Al's classiness. Most were just general Al was released threads. What we just witnessed was about the classiest exit you will ever see. The Broncos were lucky to have such a great man in their organization for so many years. I wish we could have won a championship for the man.

We know there isnt a thread for it, but most of us were saying how much class he had and some even posted some pics.

I thought Trevor Pryce was a pretty classy guy until I caught his first interview with the Baltimore media after he was introduced to the team....All but the really immature appear classy until they have that first sit-down with the new "hometown" media. Then the gloves come off and the truly classy individuals are separated from the posers.
I'll be curious to hear what Al has to say if he does get cleared to play and lands with some other team...

The released thread turned into a "Thank you" thread almost immediatley. Read it and you will see. No need to slobber again.

Good luck to a fighter if there ever was one. Between Al and to a certain extent Olandis Gary, they made the 6-10 season bearable. I will always remember Al's hit in the Raider game at home....he smoked somebody.(Wheatley?)
