That's what he gets for making her live in poverty for over 17 years. "He was always on the golf course losing money"
NEW YORK (AP) — Divorce has its price — and no celeb, it appears, knows that better than Michael Jordan.
The basketball superstar's split last December from his wife of 17 years, Juanita, is No. 1 on Forbes.com's list of "The 10 Most Expensive Celebrity Divorces."
Juanita Jordan could possibly "get more than $150 million in a settlement, making the Jordan divorce the most expensive in entertainment history," Forbes said.

Honestly, I could care less, but I doubt she lifted a finger that whole marriage. Jordan is no angel.

What do you mean that's all she gets? She should of got what she came in with -- a nice rack, a round bottom, some expensive clothing, some fake jewelry, an 82 Ford Escort and $ 382.00 in her bank account.
A 150 million dollar is a lot of dough for a housewife who didn't cook, clean or work until recently (thanks to MJ). And if you don't cook, clean or work, what ****ing good are you?
I don't see why he should give her more than a million dollars. She didn't do anything to help MJ make half a billion dollars. She was just along for the ride.

And what kind of woman divorces a man who gives every freaking possible thing should could ever want? MJ took that woman out of poverty, gave her fame, fortune, two beautiful kids and changed the course of her life for the better --for forever. And now she wants to leave him? WTF? What kind of crazy ass woman is he dealing with? Who can satisfy that gold digger? Bill Gates?
I mean, 99% of women in the world would walk over chards of glass, burning hot coals and the eat the eyeballs of gorilla to trade places with that woman. She is crazy.

She left him once or twice before and he to talk her back into the relationship.

Proves that the majority of women are never ever satisfied. MJ had half a billion dollars in the bank, gave her everything she could ever dream of and I bet she still continuously complained.

Is money the key to a happy marriage? Did you forget to mention all the women outside of her Jordan has been with?

It comes with the territory of being married to somebody everyone wants a piece of (proabably not just the women, either). Look what happened to Mrs. Kobe. She gets a rock the size of a basketball to wear. Looks pretty. Probably doesn't make Kobe any more faithful to her but she has this lovely rock to wear and she can play the Guilt Card on him whenever she wants.
Look at Saint Hillary. If Billy Boy doesn't pony up a U.S. Senate Seat for her, I doubt she stays with the lying POS.
Women of popular men understand a) their husbands will cheat and b) the women get to extract a price. And when they see the kids are old enough and he's loaded in money, she'll divorce his ass and get half. That's the way womanhood works in this country. It's the wives of faithful husbands that are probably miserable. LOL

I don't see how she's a gold digging ho if she doesn't want to be with her cheating husband anymore.

Laws favor women, a marriage contract is the worst thing a man can sign.

Laws favor women, a marriage contract is the worst thing a man can sign.In what way? In my personal experience this isn't true in the least.
The laws right now state if I can find me a rich woman who will marry me without a prenup, I'm pretty much guaranteed half of everything we accumulate together.

Like Jeff Gordon and his ex wife accumulated wealth together? She wanted the mansion, the jet and 22k a month. What did she accumulate?
She was nothing but a trophy holder then money grabber.

It doesn't matter who accumulates the wealth in a partnership, correct?
If you can come up with a better way to designate parting ways collective wealth compensation than 50-50, I'm listening.

Oh, give me a break. Jeff Gordon drove cars for a living. That's an incredibly difficult task. Unless she hired people to do everything, I'm guessing she did more work than he did. Who makes dinner for you? Unless it's a microwave I'm guessing there's a woman involved.
Michael Jordan played a game for a living. I don't think any of these people are busting their asses.

Laws favor women, a marriage contract is the worst thing a man can sign.
This is not necessarily correct. I've known several women who made better money than their ex's and they ended up parting with quite a bit upon their divorces as well. Unfortunately, you are looking at scenarios where the men were in the position to make more than the women they were married to. It goes both ways in court.

But thats a long shot on your part. If a woman wanted too she take you right out of your shoes at any point. Just sign a prenuptial no matter what.

That's because most men make more money than women. So, the statistics would support that.
By the way, there is no "Law" that would favor a woman in any of these divorces. Can you produce one of these laws?

I guess i should say "most" laws favor women not all.No they don't, that's what I've been trying to tell you. Laws starting changing in the 70s and most states had changed their laws to 50-50 accumulation (time married and or together) by the late 80s. Today, a man has just as good of chance as gaining custody of the children in a divorce as a woman does but most decline to do it.
