Lol, has anyone played their wife in Madden football? Just curious. My wife has bugged me for the last couple of years to teach her how to play the game. So, i started teaching her earlier this year. She has grown to like to play teams like the Colts and Ravens. But that is always good news to me as i play Denver all the time. So anyway, she started improving her playing skills ( to a degree ) and all of a sudden the **** talking starts. Oh yea, she went there. So we just got done playing a game where she had the 14-2 Colts vs my 98 Broncs. She managed to take to kickoffs back for TDs as did i. By halftime it was 56-28 my favor. But, she started mouthing off that she was going to pummel me in the second half. Well, needless to say i shut her out in the second and ran up the score on her. Final Denver- 108, Indy- 28.

Her final comment was " way to bring me down baby ". Hilarious!

Maybe you should build her up a little? I kinda feel bad for her. My wife asked me to teach her to play madden and a couple of other games and I did, and we have a great time. Sometimes I let her win - or come REALLY close - it builds her confidence and makes her want to continue playing, try again, improve her game so she can beat me next time.

I wont assume you live in Denver, but Denver is a good example of a big fish/little pond kind of city.

I hate to say that, I lived there 20 years and my heart remains, but there is no comparison when thinking of places like Vegas, LA, PHX, MIA, ATL, SD, etc.

Nah, my wife is cool. She doesnt get mad about it. Perhaps people are reading too much into this. Obviously she wants to play to spend time with me when i am playing and thats cool.
