It looks as though if I do make it to denver thsi year, this will be the one. Airfare is $70 cheaper per seat that weekend than that of the Oakland and Tennessee games. Hope i can find some reasonable seats. Should be a great time.

Good luck to the people who are looking for tickets to this game..i had to well my wife did for my b-day present bought 2 for $525 total from stubhub.com for level 5 section 531, 532 or 533 can't remember at the moment but one of those sections right around the 50 yard line row 17...it'll be my first home game..you can say i'm ****in stoked!!

My friend ( a packer fan ) and I are comin to this game. Just got tkts for 200$ roundtrip via Northwest .I found half-price tickets for the game the day they went up for sale . :yayaya:

Have a few questions and wonder if anyone has any quick answers --

These half price tickets can be picked up at will-call only. What time would that be open and how soon should I get there?

I know nothing about Denver. Whats a good place to stay ? Closer to the stadium so we can walk ? somewhere else and take a shuttle to the game ? ( dont want to drive ).

Its just the two of us .. any tailgating ideas? He's a cheesehead by the way.

Have a few questions and wonder if anyone has any quick answers --

These half price tickets can be picked up at will-call only. What time would that be open and how soon should I get there?

I believe the ticket office for these willcall tickets opens when the stadium opens because once you pick up these tickets you MUST go right into the stadium. They are very strict on making sure these tickets are picked up by the purchase and USED by the purchaser and not a scalper. I'm thinking two hours before game time...maybe 3 hours. Someone else will have to confirm.



I know nothing about Denver. Whats a good place to stay ? Closer to the stadium so we can walk ? somewhere else and take a shuttle to the game ? ( dont want to drive ).

There are a lot of hotels you can choose from. The Red Lion is right next to Invesco (the one on Bryant St) and you can walk to/from the stadium. There are TONS of hotels down along the 16th street mall area. If you stay there, you can take the free shuttle ride down to the lightrail and take the lightrail to the game. Other than that, you can stay at most any other hotel and take a taxi to the stadium, too. The lines for taxi's after the game are long, so be prepared for a good wait.

Keep an eye out here for tailgate info if there will be a tailgate or not. Other options are to go to the Bronco's Barn and tailgate there. I think the fee is $5 per person, but I don't remember. Been a couple of years since. You can also get there early and walk around the lots. There's tons of activity in the lots a couple of hours before game time on game days....you won't have a problem finding something to keep yourself busy with. Not to mention, Stampede is usually wondering around, too!

STG had some good ideas and you might want to pm lynchmob as he bought 1/2 price tickets for Raiders game. If you are renting a car, do the car and hotel on priceline.com . There is a thread on deals for travel and such at the Mane under tailgatting. I normally get old stapelton area for $40 (name your own price) and get places like Red lion, Renaissance and Double Tree. This is about 7 miles from the stadium so renting a car for this area is a must. 16th street mall is walking/light rail/taxi area. More expensive but nicer and easy access. I too am bringing a Packers fan. There will be a lot of Packer fans so tell your friend he will be among other fatsos.

Red Lion @ Invesco! Walking distance to the game and they will shuttle you downtown for free! No need to take a taxi anywhere...and I recommend the blue shuttle to and from DIA....$34 for both ways...and they will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Also, the Red Lion has pretty good food at The Skybox Restaurant at the top of the hotel...awesome view~

Those that complain about not getting the tickets now have that chance at a great value. Prices have come down big time so if you arent going to the WS, get to Invesco. I think Meck77 is hunting right now so plans for tailgate is probably happening but details are not there yet.

I can verify the four pages of available on the "buy from season ticket holders". I actually saw 4 together section 104 row 3 at face. If I didnt live 600 miles away, and wasn't already invested in this weeks game, I'd have jumped for sure.

I'm hoping for a huge jump towards the front of the line of season ticket waiting list this year, But I have'nt seen more than one pair at a time for this weeks game.

No, I dont mind paying for tickets. I live in Chicago and Im on the waiting list so dont preach to me about wanting a handout. I have an extra ticket for this game. My friend is flying in from Chicago and he bought 2 tkts from a guy in Denver, so we wont have the tkts until day of game . He paid 250 for the pair so Im willing to sell for 125$ ( sec. 519 row 15).

If anyone is interested, PM me and we can figure out where to meet etc. Its going to be complicated, cuz I have to meet the other dude first ,but thats why we have cellphones :)
